In Firefox you need to enable colour management (about:config then search for "color" and doubleclick colourmanagement).
If you don't enable colour management in FF it looks fairly normal but primary colours are more saturated, most notably reds as I mentioned a bit earlier on. Enabling colour managed mode will show you how washed out standard colours look especially this forum's blue shade. The upside of enabling this mode for wide gamut display is that you'll get more colours available where more colours are specified on content and also better greyscale values. The downside is as above ***
This is what I meant by the variation of colour shades between srgb and argb for everyday use.
If I could spare the money then I'd keep it just for Photoshop and nothing else and have the Hazro for everything else but alas, I don't have the money
** in fact you should see exactly what I mean if you open IE and load the forum then in Firefox enable colour managed mode and open the forum, look at the 2 windows side by side.
Where I work we currently use around 200 of the 22" version i.e. HP LP2275w, easy adjustable height, excellent viewing angles etc, great for office users anyway & should be good for gaming.
As from around 5 weeks ago where I work we upgraded to around 200 of the 22" version i.e. HP LP2275w, easy adjustable height, excellent viewing angles etc, great for office users anyway & should be good for gaming.

Yeah would be great if someone could do a picture of that ?
I used to do, what you guys are accusing mrk of I have either returned or sold all LCD I have ever owned. Now I'm taking a break and just obsessing in forums It was costing me too much financially + personally
I greatly value mrk's opninion. He pays attention to detail
Mrk, thanks for being able to compare these two screens side-by-side - being an owner of the Hazro 24" myself, i'm relieved that your conclusion was to opt for the Hazro as a better all-rounder.
If the HP had turned out to be an much more superior screen to the Hazro, I was beginning to have visions of getting the HP to replace my Hazro!! - i shouldn't have worried
dunno if i did this colour management setting in firefox properly, it says true now so I assume that's all you do ?
I can't see any difference in colour, but I am a bit colour blind
I tried taking a pic but maybe a better cam is needed

Nope just relying the information, all I can get is confirmation of a price increase but nobody knows how much so it could be a couple of quid or more.....
OK guys, my thoughts for what it's worth - for reference coming from 19" 1280x1024 Hyundai L90D+ (TN film):
Can't believe I didn't move to 24" wide sooner - the size is fantastic (doesn't feel too big at all)
No dead or stuck pixels, excellent build quality, no banding or snowing. I actually love the look of it
Stunning picture quality, I simply don't understand the odd 'washed out colour' comments
Excellent stand adjustment
Out-of-the-box settings need a bit of changing - I've used contrast 65, brightness 20, rgb 250/235/240 as recommended by baddass (miles too bright and a slight yellow tint out-of-the-box both totally cured with these changes)
Supplied HP Display Assistant software and OSD useful and user friendly respectively
Overall, I cannot recommend this monitor enough. It just works (unlike say maybe the Hazro's). Totally worth the money and I'm delighted.
(Edited after playing around a bit more with the settings)
