lol @ people saying it was okay for people to buy up all the stock to sell on, fair enough buy a couple, but for instance take Greebo, he said he would have ordered 200+ given the chance, fair enough Greebo has been selling them on at cost, but take another person in Greebo's position buying 200+ just to sell on at a huge profit.
it means normal people missed out, which isn't fair, by limiting it to 1 each, everybody would have been happy, forcing profiteers to order from multiple stores/retailers.
so then profiteers and normal consumers would be both happy.
when asda used to sell 1 litre of smirnoff for £10 (cheaper than most distributors sell at wholesale), they limited it to 3 per customer for a reason.
otherwise shopkeepers would have went in and just bought all of them, then sold it in their shops for £12 each.
shopkeepers still did the above but they were limited to buying 3 at a time. which made it a much fairer system.
