I've not read this thread since Friday as I've been doing a charity coast to coast bike ride this weekend.

Can someone kindly update me on what I've missed, has there been more stock located and is still available? Also did Greebo get 10+ units in the end, if so are they all allocated to members already?

Are there more units coming, or is there no hope now getting a touchpad at firesale prices?

I have a touchstone and case already but no touchpad. :(
 
Ive tried, tried and tried some more with out any success since day 1 with these bad boys.

Mr G, you can wax my legs and use me as a surfboard if you can hook me up with one.

That goes for anyone else on here, im not proud pmsl.

I managed to get a touchstone from CPW, a keyboard from bestbuy, couldnt find a case or more importantly a TOUCHPAD. oh well i can just sit here staring at my dock and keyboard wishing.

back to scouring the net again I suppose sob sob sob:(
 
CPW delivery waiting for me at Yodel centre. Other CPW order ready to collect from Store.

Comet order got the invoice for today, waiting for the 5th apparently.

Well my online Carphone Warehouse order has been cancelled.

I called them up because it had not been processed and was told there was a problem with my card (although natwest had told me that they had approved the transaction 10 times). He took a different card which caused the whole order to fail the securit check and cancel.

He couldnt tell me why it failed apart from it was internal.

He did reveal that the currently have stock of 280 touchpads but they are not orderable and they are expecting more in but again he didnt know what was happening with them.

Very unimpressed with them.
 
Why oh why have people been so confident of securing a touchpad that they've gone out and bought all the accessories prior to actually owning a touchpad? It baffles me!

I think you will find the accessories were a pretty profitable investment of you got them at their discounted/half prices.

Since they haven't cancelled my order I think I probably will get my touchpad in a few weeks..

Lol, no not at all. I have one touchpad and one touchstone and that is all i have ever bought.

I am only still here because my dad wants one now!
