Hungarian Grand Prix 2015, Hungaroring - Race 10/19

Nico "I assumed it was my corner", yeah ok, except for the part of the corner where Ricciardo's car was. At least Lewis was the bigger man and accepted responsibility today.

His attitude sucks in so much as like Massa he has a habit of saying "I assumed xxxxx....." did something stupid and ruined their own races. Rosberg should have left more space and assumed nothing, you were on the racing line so the hell what, you know there is a guy off the track and will be trying to get back on but make a stupid assumption and leave no space on purpose.

Also his idiotic wish to stay on the medium tire when the team told him otherwise.

Something going on with Hamilton's starts though, I think they've changed something in preparation for Spa and the new rules and have had two terrible starts from both cars(who are on different clutches so the changed back to the 2015 clutch isn't responsible). Will everyone suck in Spa but Merc be comparatively better, or is it nothing to do with preparing for Spa. They must have changed something because they had consistent and usually the best starts on the grid for 2-3 years. Two races in a row both drivers have near identical and awful starts?

Next race the drivers wont be allowed as much assistance in their start procedures (clutch bite point etc.).. merc need to get that sorted out, already pretty poor.

Both McLarens in the points w000t!! Alonso 5th!

Pleased to see a new face on the podium. Kvyat did v well. Not so pleased to see Horner with smug mode switched back on tho!

I assume it goes something like ...

"Hi Pastor, this is how much $$$ you have cost us today. If you could just sign this cheque. K thx bye.

I think today's list must be a record? I can't find a record for most infractions in a single race, but he has the record for most in a season, which was 10 last year. Considering he had 5 (I think) today.... jesus...

I'd love to have a pint with him though. He's probably a well sound bloke. Just not a very smart driver. Remember that time he flipped the Sauber lol I'll never forget it.

It's also quite funny that Hamilton's two most dominant weekends in terms of clear speed others can't match, Monaco and Hungary, have become awful results for him... awful compared to his speed and ability at those tracks.

Had Merc had their normal starts they would have blitzed this race with no problem, so they certainly need to fix that.

Also did anyone notice in the replay of Grosjean's pit stop with the unsafe release, did he not way overshoot the pit box and hit the jack man again, though no where near as hard as the last time. IE when he did it before the guy launched back 3-4m, this time it appeared to move him a couple of feet but still appeared to get a jack into the gut?

Oh and very pleased to see both McLarens finish in the points. Track suited them but at least it does imply that the mechanical grip and aerodynamics are there, they're just down on power. If Honda can sort that out and use some performance tokens then they might actually finish in the points regularly. Spa won't be pretty for them though.

I was going to post that the reaction from Guti was hilarious and I'd never forget it, but I forgot it :p

Was something like "hey, what was that"... it was the most casual you could expect to hear a driver whose just saw his world rotate 360 degrees with a pretty heavy landing to finish. No panic in his voice, no anger, no fear, just entirely calm reaction.
