Hyundai i30N

actually this is my thread who opened it ? and you cant ban someone for posting in on other threads (which every member does) unless he starts insulting others of course.
as for opening a ``Mal X and his fantasy car thread``......you'd have to let the thread get trolled without deleting it, because it definitely will.

I'd call it "Mal's musings" or something. And I was being genuine about my suggestion, I think it'd be great for you to have your own space to think out loud without everyone else jumping all over you. Those who want to engage can, and those who don't can stay out.

A bit like Acme's thread :)

I' l to see it in other colours other than the light blue. A dark red or electric blue would be a nice thing to see.

yes the chalky blue looks wrong, it makes the car look slow, but it looks good on their rally cars because of all the stripes and stickers.

Mal X do you have a car at the moment and are looking to change or is this just like an information thread for this model?

no i'm keeping my car, i'll have two cars, this thread is for information only because there is no other i30n thread here

oh i'm not cross m8, i think it's a good idea.......... i attract trouble wherever i go i apologise for that........ i wear my heart on my sleeve, i'm always in trouble either here or at work, i'm outspoken and i'm not a good poster at all, everyone misunderstands me...........i'm used to it now !

What car do you have currently?

i am the proud owner of a Jazz and that wont be going, in fact we have two of them now !
the Jazz is ok until i fancy a good hard drive, because then it becomes very dangerous.

i've had slow cars for years because i lost interest when i was in my mid thirties, i only rekindled my interest when i joined here to upgrade my PC for gaming and of course i noticed this section............ ``i'm jealous of these guys, they've got what i once had``.

i was never into track cars though, my passion was Drag racing at Blackbushe airport, just a sad memory now.

Ah I see. You should come to the drag meets we have at santa pod. Even if it is in one of your jazzs. Maybe it could broader your horizon on what car you actually would enjoy long term should you finally decide to make a purchase.

yes you're right

Not sure if I'm right but the few times I've been there is always interesting stuff there.

A lot of cars can surprise you with their performance and it's just a nice day out. I think it's much better then watching countless YouTube videos or looking at adverts online and to then make an assumption of what a car is like.

Plus it's good to ask those who own them what their experiences are like with their cars and such. Much different to how it is in person to what it is online.

Just my 2p m8.

To be honest, I have a passion for old and interesting cars, but I don't really have a passion for working on them. Which is a problem. :p

yes one of the problems i have, is as you get older you cant work on them like you once could......... the back wont take the bending over any more or crawling underneath.

yes i remember all of that from Blackbushe, the trouble with Youtube is, you dont see all the cars that are there that day and you dont get the true buzz of the occasion.

One time you went there was an awesome Skoda. I seem to recall it gave you a run for your money for the first 10 feet. :p

If you're on about the race against the 330i. There were many factors on the day that didn't allow it to shoot off quickly. Mainly down to carrying excess weight and tyre pressures.

First time at pod etc

I'm looking forward to the diesel Vs your tsport. That should be a close race.

Just looks very meh. I thought the Golf R was bland, but this one goes one step further. Thank god we have the mighty CTR to keep things interesting.

cheap looking and lacking any personality is its downfall, it is not extreme enough for a weekend fun car, but if you want a ``budget`` fast daily then it's perfect.

let's see if Hyundai decide to sell the 370hp RN30 ..............because that is definitely EXTREME enough ! they keep mentioning it in recent press releases so something fishy is going on.
