lol, see I've never understood the whole dress code nonsense especially in jobs like yours I mean it's not like you get to meet the customers (i.e. the people phoning up). But yeah I definately think they're just picking on you now.

Its not just the physical image, but the mental image that you project (apparently).

VS - telling piggy to go on the sick is one of the worst pieces of advice i have ever heard.
She is not sick, she is not ill, she is stressed by a situation that she cannot control (its out of her control). Solution is to find another place to work in the short time that she has left in the area.

Piggy should leave that place before she does become ill (from being stressed) to the point that moving and starting a new life would be effecting her even more.
If the job was important to her then she should seek advice / guidance from someone in her HR department to start with, and the go external should she need to. However that isnt really the case as shes not staying with them.

As a sidenote, that cat is always sat in exactly the same place. Legend.

Stuffed.. ;)

As for the skirt - thats really pathetic *the complaint - not the skirt.. ;)*

I've worked in call centres where the women wore much less than that....*Hello Samantha if you're reading this*

Just sounds like they have to find something to complain about..

i dont see anything wrong with the image, you look presentable.

That's was I thought ... Fair enough it's not a LONG skirt but it's certainly not a short one

Ah well .. I'm going into work with a crinkly longer skirt this afternoon .. Says nothing in the dress code that things have to be ironed ;)

I'm still doing my washing and I refuse to get the bloody ironing board out just to iron one garment

What will they pull out of the hat next Piggy ? Looking at the pic, I think your hair is too long and perhaps too dark for the caring bosses at NTL. Will that be next ?

Get out as quickly as you can. Were you serious about seeing the GP in your earlier thread or just venting steam ?

I ask because I very nearly did when I was very unhappy at work some time ago.

Funny......But where is the real Von Smallhausen??

And Piggy, may I say that the only thing that is short in that pic is you. :) That skirt is presentable and professional looking I really don't see what the problem is.

Maybe my shortness in General will offend them

I am serious about seeing my GP .. I can't go on like this any longer :( ...

Everyday I dread going into work wondering and getting worried about what is going to happen .. I am still looking for something else to tide me over until I move to Braintree but there's nothing about :/

Swansea Sucks

Is it your boss who is always complaining?
Also where does it say in the "rules" that you have to wear a certain length skirt? It surely says you have to look presentable, which you do.
I think that these people need to get a life and leave you alone and they are surely wasting a lot of company time and manhours giving you crap the whole time...

Poor you :(

nice boots tho :D

Not sure I understand that one Burnsy ? Real VS. I am here, yet again making an arse of myself.

I mean how can you inpersonate the vioce of anyone else bar a crazy englishman trying to be French?

Piggy If you feel you should goto a doctor then go, no harm can come from it. If it is adversly affecting your health then maybe you should talk to a solicitor?

I agree with Burnsy, you can now think about professional negligence.
They are being negligent not to notice that you are having a tough time,
also if it is affecting your wellbeing then you are entitled to and should seek legal advice.

I think that once this ordeal starts affecting your health then see a doctor or maybe a psychiatrist?? But at least then you can make sure that what you spend is recompensated by the company, if not then take them to court and sue for damages to your person and also for the costs of your medical fees.

Perhaps it might be worth moving just a little earlier to essex?

What??

Piggymon gets some sort of warning for not hitting targets and told not to wear a short skirt and suddenly she should be suing her employer for stress? Is this really what the world is coming to?
