Right I have added SkeeterUK's rules into the new sticky.

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18299418

Do you guys want anything else added?

Also, when you do get around to posting the final, final update of the updated finalised and revised rules may I suggest something similar to this:

OcUK stock product ranges M, N and O
Company A stock product ranges P, Q and R
Company B stock product ranges M, N and O
Company C stock product ranges M, N and P
Company D stock product ranges M, Q and R
Company E stock product ranges M, N, O, P, Q and R

Can name and link: Company A
Can name but not link: Company D and Company E
Can not name or link: Company B and Company C

At no time should you name or link to any company, direct competitor or not, other than OcUK when discussing a Core Product of OcUK.

This way you can give examples of the different scenarios without having to worry about actually listing competitors.

:D

OCUK Competitor Rules:

1. Amazon and places like these etailers/retailers are fine to talk about but please do *NOT* discuss our core business products or link to them such as motherboards, cpus, mice etc.

Example,

Quote:
So buy a CD from Amazon = allowed.
Check out the price of Graphics Cards on Amazon = not allowed.

2. Digital Distribution services are ok to talk about.

3. Retailers and Etailers that do pc hardware are *NOT* to be discussed or linked to.

3. Anyone caught promoting pc hardware on these forums will face warnings and if continued persistence entails then a possible ban will ensue.

Thank you to SkeeterUk for the wording.

rule 3 (first rule 3 not 2nd :p) kind of contradicts rule 1, as they also sell hardware, so do you mean exclusivly sell hardware?
