Now we can all pile into Spie's hot-tub and oil up for a mass-manhug bonanza!
He just updated his post, sounds fair to me.Pretty sure gibbo said games are fine on other sites even if ocuk stock it, of course the rule is that if the price is similar to other places then please don't mention other sites that selling it at a few quid difference but if their is a huge difference then it is ok to talk about.
So basically the rule set i wrote just remove the link words and that could be the new stickied rules?

Yes, but games are fine, we sell less than 10 different games, so am fine with games chat and other items we don't sell.
this is the one thing that confuses me the most. we can discus other companies that sell games, coz thats not OCUKs core business.
yet this rule change is being made in the PC Games section of the forum, which in theory is one of the only computer based subforums this rule wouldnt apply to
So Amazon's Digital Distribution service is not allowed but Steam is?
Also what's happening with the competitors on OcuK's twitter?
The point is.... why dont OcUK sell the kindle if it is so popular?

What? It IS allowed.

Because OcUK don't do books? The point is.... why dont OcUK sell the kindle if it is so popular?

I shall be honest with games were not too fussed, but if you do see we sell that game and the price difference is less than a couple of quid then there should be no need to mention elsewhere, if OcUK is hugely out on price then yes, because it could be a mistake on pricing.
I have updated the sticky in the rules thread. I can always tweak it to fit, but it should make sense now. Basically it is just common sense as to regards what to mention, and what not to mention.
