iCue 7000x Build

A couple of photos to show the skill of Liam.

As for Amazon they are a bunch of pricks and I advise anyone to buy items and return a brick for a refund as it’s obvious they don’t check the contents of previous returns.

I’ve also decided to buy all the extra EK fittings as I was only using the compression fittings and making use of a mix of other brands for 90’s etc.

This means that the tubing that Liam had done will have to be done again. But I’ll bribe him with sweets like the child catcher.

It’s satin tubing.
The courier has just picked up the other case and it’s basically a smear campaign on social media as they hate bad publicity. the annoying thing is I have to wait for a refund which can take upto to 2 weeks.

So more headaches this time with an ssd I sold through eBay.
The buyer is claiming he hasn’t received it and has opened a case against me yet I have proof of postage, gps from Royal Mail of where it was delivered which happened to be the flats he lives in but doesn’t say what address.
I’ve told him to visit his neighbours but I strongly suspect he’s pulling a fast one claiming it hasn’t been delivered whilst keeping it.

anyone had experience with this sort of thing and had it gone in their favour or will eBay always side with the buyer.

I assure you this build will start one day but not just yet as I’m too busy and still got some parts to order. however this turned up today.
OLED flow meter.
****** molex which is ancient tech. When are they going to stop using that bulky crap and switch to sata
Be super careful with these, i had one that shorted and melted the wires... started to smoke before i noticed and quickly turned off the computer.

Did you get the case from Bezo's shop?

Yup had someone try to pull a fast one on me with a 2070 super, but i had a ton of evidence including pictures, packaging, me dropping it off at the post office, tracked and insured with signed delivery. Ebay quickly closed the case when i bombarded them with evidence and i ended up just blocking the perpetrator.

Wow scary
Was that a well known brand?
Or cheap Ali etc knock off
And yeah he got the case from bezos shop
Was bought from ali but its the Bykski brand so relatively known in todays market. I had a Barrow one too that worked better but since sold that on. Was made from metal instead of POM like the one OP and I had.

Yeah bezoo's store.... they really don't check when you return stuff. I've had a few things from their warehouse deals including a motherboard which was obviously used but they sold as unused. Upon inspection, bent pins! Loads of dust around the IO port as well so someone had attempted to clean it but not thoroughly. My guess is someone switched the board out for a new one and chucked their dead one in and returned it.

Took 2 weeks for Hermes to get it back to their warehouse and a further 2 weeks to get money back into my account! Was pretty miffed!

Yeah I mentioned before Argos are notorious for doing that
I can understand the person checking the return might not
Actually have a clue what parts make up a pc case
Fair enough
But doesn't excuse reselling it as new
Yeah byski is used by lot of people especially if ek don't make
A block for a certain GPU
Barrow too
Though not actually tried either

I've honestly never bought anything expensive from Argos, they have a really crappy return policy on electronics so i tend to avoid them. Crap of them to do that though, i would not buy expensive components from companies that practice this, it's just wrong.

Only ever tried their flow meters, never used their bigger components like blocks and fittings. Prefer the quality and look of the European manufacturers like Watercool/aquacomputer personally and they usually have better CS from experience.

Yeah but apparently it came from their warehouse which I wasn’t aware of as it didn’t say it was redirecting me.
The case was sold as used mint condition with damage to the box. When I got the box there was very little damage and all the sellotape looked like it come from the factory so I naively assumed it would be all good inside as the description didn’t say otherwise.

So I’m looking at around a month for my money back yet when I took some returns to my local drop off, 24 hours later the money was refunded.

That's pretty lucky! Saying that i returned a pc case yesterday and got my refund within 24 hours as well. Was expecting way longer as it wasn't sold by amazon but dispatched by amazon. I find item's that are not sold by amazon usually take a lot longer for a refund.
