I'm not saying it is fine. However, it is their land and their law and he trespassed.

Try trespassing in some states in the US onto private property.

It doesn't sound like this tribe is at the level for any reasoned debate, so what the point even thinking about it. Just don't go there.

It's not a question of it being fine it's a question of it being inevitable, they're an ancient pre-Neolithic tribe that has side stepped the modern world & who actively & violently shun outsiders, they're is an exclusion zone around the island for a reason, and once he chose to ignore that fact and the "warnings" he received to go back 3 times in his arrogant desire to spread the word of Jesus, he sealed his own fate I'm afraid.

I mean it's a bit like sticking your wedding tackle thru the bars of a hungry Lions cage then acting all surprised you wind up singing soprano, there are some things you just do not do as they are patently & obviously bloody dangerous.

Or realising that

A: We can't change course on something that is fundamentally connected to our future wealth and prosperity.

B: A lot of those folks are in dire need of help (perhaps due to things that are indirectly/directly caused by the West), which for supposedly nice folks the west postulate themselves to be... bit unimpressive.

C: Actual liberals would indeed respect these folks rights to their isolation.

D: I could go on, but meh.

I'm not talking about letting in a few refugees in need. I'm talking about their idealistic dream of completely open borders - something that will do nothing for our future wealth and prosperity apart from utterly destroy it.

That's a tad ignorant, even the mildest form of globalism has massively boosted American and European wealth, hell it's turned China from an argi-nation into a world power within a single generation... your assertion is simply not right.

The fact is that i wont be suffering because boomers pooped out a few too many kids that they had no choice but to increase immigration to keep things pretty, nullifying that would collapse this economy and the people that'd suffer the most would be the oldies with no ability to use their labor for production.

The biggest companies in the world now have so much leverage in politics and social benefits that they now ultimately control the future of globalism, what they want... will happen.

Whoever concocted the idea that you have believe what I tell you and it is a merit to use "faith" to believe the things I can't prove, was on to a good one. What many seem to skip over is the fact that all these systems involve to some degree giving them some of your hard earned cash. Hmm.
 
I find the idea that there’s still ancient tribes on this planet that have had little contact with the advanced world very interesting, I wonder if there’s any out there that have yet to be discovered

I'm pretty sure that tribe haven't been involved in wars all over the globe that have caused migration.

I'm also pretty sure they haven't raped other countries of their wealth through empire building, subjugating the population, using them as slaves and then complaining about them being here.

I don't suppose they have contributed much to climate change which will begin to cause even more mass movement of populations.

It's a tiny island with no real reason for anybody to go there and disturb an ancient tribe, how is that in any way equivalent to what bigots complain about in the West?
