IIyama 40" 4k VA monitor

Drstuf - you mentioned you mounted it with an Ergotron mount. I have my current 27" monitor mounted with one but it only goes up to VESA 100x100 and 9Kg. According to Iiyama this needs a 200x400 mount and is just over 12Kg. I like my current mount so would be looking to get another - which model did you get?

The vesa holes on the iiyama are 200x200 the same as the philips, i had to buy one of the cheap square convertion plates from an auction site

Its an ergotron neo-flex widescreen stand, they are 100 x 100 mount as standard
 
Couldn't resist - I've also ordered one :) I've been flip-flopping about a new monitor for months (since the Dell U3415W was released). Looking forward to replacing my 24" 1920x1200 screen with something a little on the larger size..!

Been waiting for acer x34 and black friday sale hoping to get it in £800 -£860 region but G-Sync version pricing just feels inflated for what it is partly due to low supply i imagine. Philips looked good value and then this comes up! Had to buy one - such a no brainer. Looking to run games at custom 21:9 on it, desktop at 4k. I will do a review in couple days. Its due to arrive on tuesday.
