I'm disgusted

I wouldn't consider getting involved in giving a tramp or other kind of crusty person a punch / slap etc.

The risk of them having dirty old needles or some kind of knife to hand is to great.

If it had been my missus I would have been straight down to the police and yelled until they promised to at least give him a telling off! And at least they would be alerted to his antics - what if he goes even further with the next girl?

Grrrr - my blood is boiling just thinking about it on your behalf :)

God no, if someone thinks that then they will have some seriously deranged views. For that builder then a hard kick to his nuts would have been in order.
Maybe saying going to a self defense class would be sensible, but I don't see why someone should have to for fear of being assaulted.

nah, you wait until they are asleep and then:

A) Pee on them

B) Throw a bucket of water over them

C) cover them in food and hope that rats get them

:D

Thanks mate. Don't worry I'll be chasing it up. I hope she's got the details, if not I've given her a list of things to do, and if ever it happens (I hope it never ever does) again I shall throw everything I legally can at them. I think there's a chance I can find out who the contractors were as it is a building that was recently being renovated. I don't want her to get hurt by giving the idiot a kick, but at the same time he deserves it.

I've been given lots of suggestions and things to try via email and msn etc.. Thanks again for your support and kind words :)

See if shes up for some self defense classes.
Such as kick boxing or some form of martial art.

They will think twice when she could deliver a Chuck Norris type roundhouse to the face! :D

I wouldn't tell her to kick people (even between the legs) unless she is actually being attacked God forbid..in that situation she'd have nothing to lose.

Slapping and kicking tends to annoy people, and makes it more likely she would get badly assaulted. That would be a far worse situation IMO.
Just get out of there. That'd be my advice for a female.

As has already been said it is sexual assult. Damn it, why do guys act like this? Then normally blame the way the woman dressed.

I'd get her to go to an Aikido class. It is the perfect art of self defense becuase it involves non of that punching air atacking stuff in other forms such as karate.

Uses the atackers motions against them!

Hope she is OK dude... If it was my wife there would be blood.

Ive had my bum groped in a club before, only thing was when I turned round to give them a piece of my mind they must have seen the look on my face and run off...
Dont tend to have a problem with it now, even working in a pub but then again I do work with my b/f.
Someone did give me some advice if ever I had to walk home alone though, have a hefty set of keys/keyrings and wrap them around your knuckles. That way if someone went for me I'd have a chance at self defense, kickboxing classes helps too (and is fun!). Im not saying go looking for trouble, but its an everyday item and so not classed as a weapon.

I agree with that 100%, I wouldn't tell my girlfriend to try and wack somebody if she had been groped, its likely to escalate into a situation she won't be able to handle, no matter how many boxercise sessions she's been to.

But if I could find the chap myself that would be a different story.

I guess girls are more insulted and fearful of such incidents then men. Rightly so I guess, as men are more apt at looking after themselves.
I remember not too long ago I had two pints, one in each hand and some girl grabbed where she shouldn't. I wasn't really offended but I wasn't best pleased as I felt a bit taken back. With women there's the fear of it going too far I guess.

EDIT:

Also, if a girl is wearing high-heels. A good stamp on the average foot will really hurt. Remember GCSE science and surface area? :)

The most sensible thing for her to do is to shout as stated to bring attention to the situation as has been mentioned. I agree that I don't really want her to get involved physically. However as of now I'm saying that it won't happen again dammit... If it happens to any of you, or to anyone you know, chase it up and make sure these pathetic excuses of men get some grief for it.

Not getting at you specifically LordSplodge but...

As I said before it isn't just guys that act this way. There are plenty of women out there who are just as bad and in some ways worse; very few men grab a girls groin yet the girls who make a habit of groping tend to always go for a mans groin. Personally I consider a groin grope more offensive than a bum grope. Though obviously neither should be tolerated.

In the club I used to frequent in good old Southend-On-Sea I would say that the majority of all such incidents were comitted by women. I assume that this was down to most men having 'wised up' that this kind of behaviour is not tolerated by modern women and that they would more than likely recieve a slap. The girls on the other hand have no such deterrent.

As Nix rightfully pointed out there is a slight difference in that men are percieved as being able to 'look after' themselves but that just doesn't hold water with me. I think it is equally offensive and intolerable regardless of which sex is getting groped. Though i'm sure many will disagree.

Unfortunately its getting more and more common :( I hope Roz is OK and not too shaken up. The best approach Ive found is to turn around and ask them very loudly just what the hell do they think they're doing.

I cant say its happened to me in broad daylight (no surprises there!! lol) but it's happened plenty of times out at night. One night a few months back I got a load of hassle from some guy I didnt know but who knew some people I was with. He went waay too far, dancing too close, rubbing past etc despite me asking someone who knew him to tell him to back off. He was very drunk and I was pretty tipsy and didnt deal with it in the best way, but what I did worked and he left me alone. GordyR is right though, it goes both ways. Some of the stuff girls do around here makes me cringe.

Agree with you on this one. I've had to have a word with some of our 'party' when we've been out because they've been grabbing and stuff. I think the reason it's not as 'big a deal' (not that I'm saying that it shouldn't be) is because men tend to laugh it off because the personal threat isn't there as it is when it happens to a woman. Saying that, it shouldn't be tolerated from either sex, but unfortunately a group of lads will often go on the 'what's wrong with you' tack if it happens and the guy will end up laughing it off so not to end up with a load of stick. Double standards from the women that do the grabbing tbh they'd well kick off it it happened to them.

Pretty much what happened with me I guess. I just laughed and shrugged it off. I can still remember the "I'm sweet and innocent" look I got right after that. Girls can get away with it, blokes can't. Although, to be fair - a girl who does such a thing her character may not be in question. A bloke who does such a thing is probably an ******* anyway.

I guess it ultimately comes down to respect.

Sorry, that should have said people. However, it is still classed as more of a "laugh" if a woman does it to a man. God help the man who does it to the woman.

Should be obviously wrong for both to do it...but isn't drink often a factor?
