I'm down by 140 pounds.

I've got some loose skin, that's to be expected with such a loss but it's not so much that it's worrying me.

I've not played Eve for years :)

Shades were from Photoshop ;) My jeans in the second picture are from Primark though.

Yes, my knees certainly love it, I also have a lot more stamina and energy generally. I normally do a 4-5 mile walk in the morning before work and I'm going at the same speed when I finish as when I start. I really enjoy my daily walking now and if I don't get out, I feel restless.

No chance of me losing too much and becoming underweight. In fact, technically (according to BMI), I'm still overweight

I am very proud of myself, I won't be going back to where I was a year ago

I don't drink much these days, actually I haven't drunk much alcohol for a few years. I'll still be doing the local beer festival in August though and will probably find myself legless after three or four pints. I really don't miss it.

Granted I'm only 13.2st but I'm getting a bit of a belly and I'm eating right so it's just the exercise missing.

Exercise is important, however, calories in vs calories out is more important. Even if you are fairly inactive, and gaining weight, you cannot possibly be 'eating right'. Even if you are eating a varied diet of good carbs, fat and protein sources, the implication is you are eating to much of it to match your life style. Reduce your portions, and or be aware of you calorific intake.

And it's great!

140 lb is ten stone. That's 63.5 kg.

How did you get into the SAS while weighing that amount? - impressive stuff! :D j/k

seriously though congrats on the weight loss :)

WOW!

Seriously well done mate. That's a transformation and a half. :D When the other half gets back from her jolly I'll show her the pictures and ask her who it is. Lets see how many guesses it takes. ;)

Makes my 3 stone loss look pathetic tbh...

I agree, you can't be eating right if you are putting on weight, you have the balance wrong at the moment. Get the balance right first for your lifestyle and then whatever calories you earn via exercise you get as a bonus on top.

I am extremely impressed Feek. It just goes to show what you can do when you really want to and put your mind to it. A nice consistent steady weight loss so no dramatic shock to the body after. I'm extremely happy for you, nig thumbs up from me here! I wish more could take the initiative you have rather than complaining and being lazy then opting for a solution such as a gastric band.

I hope you keep enjoying the new healthy lifestyle that you've adopted :D

Excellent job, you don't need a fancy gym to lose weight just determination and willpower.

Hard work starts now though in keeping it off.

Well done Feek - a vast improvement - you look smart.

I started diet today after stepping on scales and weighed in at 138lb - Last year I got down from 146 to 132 then threw it away last xmas and put on 6lb - I have found it very difficult to lose that 6lb - I think it's starting to have the odd extra biscuit or pack of crisps or a pudding which I had cut out completely.

I am only 5ft 6" so 132 is about right for me.
