If Grosjean was out there on softs going off the track every other corner he could easily have not gone through anyway. The problem with Grosjean is he can only be that fast 1 lap in 10, Kimi can be fast 9 out of 10 laps. I just don't think he's very good, every single driver out there can go faster in 1 out of 10 laps if they are as reckless and stupid as he is, they'd screw up 9 laps, be slower over all but they'd have one lucky lap that hooks up and is blisteringly fast.

There is a reason Kimi is smashing Grosjean to pieces over the last two seasons, absolutely destroying him. Being ultra fast for one lap and **** for the rest of them is useless.
 
This has a "thank you boyz" written all over it.

Here's hoping the cheese tires can spice it up tomorrow :(

Reading comprehension isn't your thing is it.

Easily does not equal likely, off the track every other corner does not mean perfect lap. Almost no one showed a second faster on the soft tyre, how much time would he have gained on softs if he was screwing up half the lap? He needed 4-5/10ths while driving like a retard, no, you have to be rather special to think he would certainly have gone half a second faster driving this poorly.

With a perfect lap I think he could have gone through on mediums, that doesn't mean he'll certainly have a good lap when he's been dodgy all weekend and putting in bad laps all weekend. If he had 5 laps and tyres lasted that long to get a good one, sure, one lap.... that scruffy, CERTAINLY, no.
