Even with low latency off I'm getting stuttering in game when I have frame gen enabled - this is using the Game Pass version of the game.Just a note for 4 series users, don't have Low Latency Mode set to anything other than OFF within NVCP.
I had it set to Ultra in Global settings, and was wondering why my GPU usage was so low, and why Frame Generation was borked...yeh, it was this setting.
Not sure if other games are affected by this, but I've set it off for everything now.
I can now run this with everything maxed out, full PT (except for CA, MB, etc) at UW 4K (5160x2160), with FG on, @ 90-100 (monitor limit) FPS.
With Low Latency on, I was only getting 40-50 FPS and FG was a borked stutterfest with low GPU usage.

Yeh, the game pass version seems to be a lesser version of Indiana.
I've noticed that frame generation does this, are you using it?It's it me or does path tracing make everything look blurry? Faces look blurry in particular?
Are you using HDR? Supposedly it works fine in SDR.Even with low latency off I'm getting stuttering in game when I have frame gen enabled - this is using the Game Pass version of the game.
Ah, yes ... I am. I'll try SDR.Are you using HDR? Supposedly it works fine in SDR.

I think the game play is very limited but the story and visuals carry it. It is like an interactive movie.
Path tracing really takes a hit in the Himalayas section of the game. Gone from locked 85fps to ~60 lol.
5090 soon mate
Mental gymnastics due to start soon for why it is worth upgrading.
You know it man..
And he kept insisting why he won't be
Was worth the try at least
Anyone find the monkey playing with the hat?
Also my windows desktop background rotation folder is now chock full of shots from this game, so many cool scenes worthy of keeping, this is my current fav:
If you have motion blur enabled in the game settings disable it entirely. Any sort of frame generation seems to greatly increase its intensity, I think it's bugged. No, only lossless scaling fg outside of the game. I think it's dlss tbh, not sure. Honestly I'm surprised no-one else has mentioned it. Struggling to see why people are raving about the graphics so much at this point, I'm not exactly blown away.
