Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

I think I will change the difficulty down as I have never been one for fighting games. Does the difficulty level only impact the combat? I assume the puzzles etc remain the same regardless?

Looking forward to getting this game next week to play over the holidays :)

Apparently auto parry can be turned on in the options. I think I’ll give that a try later when I turn it on.

I'm having a great time playing through the main and side quests. I thought I'd do all the relic stuff too but it's impossible to go back to even with the map markers on. Spent half an hour lost trying to find which area it even wanted me to go to. Given up on it, just going to mainline it to the end instead.

Lollerskates.

i have been playing it in ultrawide 3440 rather than on the 4k telly frame generation still has hitches for me not sure if it has something to do with both ccxs being hammered  every 7/8 seconds a big framerate spike to 60ms its like indy does a forward moonwalk :D

Why on earth did they decide to design
the worst boss ever created
And then make you do it three times (so far).
The mind boggles.

It's genuinely the only reason why I will never play it again.

New patch just dropped with a load of FG fixes mentioned.

Yes 50fps in the jungle if using path tracing, so much foliage to shadow cast moving vegetation on I guess.

The bottleneck there may be the alpha blending of materials rather than the path tracing as such, alpha has always hit fill rates hard even on modern GPUs before you even add testing rays against it.

The path tracing is the key in that area of the game, the normal hardware RT Supreme mode runs at over 100fps at 4K, you only get path traced shadows when PT is on from the sun so the fps hit is basically caused by that massive labouring work needed because of sun cast shadows on every piece of foliage.

Completed it, 31.2 hours with various discoveries and artefacts left to find. I only went back to Giza to fight in the ring and beat nazis and that's me done with the game now. A brilliant adventure.
