Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

I’ve nearly got all of the field notes in the Vatican but there was one left back at castle saint angelo. You can travel back to that area but the section where the note is, is now sealed off so that mission can’t be completed. I wish I had know this before as I wouldnt have so much time trying to find all the others.

Really? That seems a bit poor from the devs.

I don't recall any sections that were sealed off when I went back.

I was recording a short video for a controller review and actually this turned out quite funny I thought, the AI can actually be quite fun to play with when there is a bunch of them on the prowl, watch me fail at the end :d

Which section?

Hmm, maybe I missed something then. I’ll head back there later and try again, see if I missed the entrance.
This passageway directly in front of me takes you back to the start of the level, and from there you can go through again until you get where you need

Just finished, 25hrs, an 'Ok' game, 7/10

Story wise it was fun, as the consensus seems to be it's very "Indy" - I can't say I enjoyed it all as a few gripes about some of the gameplay mechanics though.

What is actually up with the boxing missions? Absolute trash. Punch a guy fifteen times in the head and he's still going, one punch and you're stunlocked.

You can't jump into them unless you've learned fighting skills via the books. I ploughed through the Giza den but then not bothered about doing the others.

I'd agree with this. Ticks all the boxes for style and atmosphere but finished it feeling it didn't live up to the early promise.

The few open missions were decent but the rest very formulaic and linear. The focus on non-shooty combat was novel but enemy AI never posed any sort of challenge. Thought it felt increasingly rushed towards the end, and the final boss fight was pretty dire.
