I had hoped the advent of VR would push sound implementation forwards, but your average punter seems far more impressed by visuals alone.

sound is amazing! I absolutely LOVE insurgency, didn't think too much of the alpha when played sandstorm due to performance glitches etc but that's to be expected in a alpha, I have high hopes for the finished game

Wow. I've said earlier in this thread that I'm not sure if I'd be interested in this, Insurgency was always a little too quick and arena like for me...but I love good sound design and that is amazing. Am I too late to get in on the beta?

Edit: Just seen I get a 20% discount for owning Insurgency anyway. Plus Steam gives refunds for less than 2hrs played....**** it, I'm taking a punt
