Intel Battlemage Live & Available to order from OcUK

wow I didn't know sparkle were still a thing. reminds me of the sparkle S3 virge I bought from computer fairs back in the 90s in my short stint selling PCs when I was unemployed.

Yeah ordered the Steel Legend on 18th, hopefully wont be waiting too long, but I am using arch on the machine that its going in, and drivers are def not mature yet so will be keeping my 5700xt around for a while just incase

Nothing on my end, no email or invoice. I hate waiting for something I'm excited for. Especially without tracking as I end up feeling I can't go out around postman time incase I miss the delivery. Urg so frustrating.

Apologise @Armageus, Is this better?

"Still nothing on my end :(.

Although, tbh it won't be much use to me right now anyway since the case I've ordered is also on back order.

I'm currently running the PC on its motherboard box, and it is mini-itx so it would be pretty unstable to install a 2 slot GPU."

I think I saw similar warnings about poor performance without Re-Bar in the LTT and Hardware Unboxed reviews.
From memory (never trust it myself) I seem to recall mentions in a few reviews of "it might be worse without it" but don't recall seeing any numbers before. Obviously it's not strict testing but it gives a good idea.

Lows look awful without it.

Yeah, definately didn't see any numbers before. :)

It took me a little bit but I finally found the LTT reference to Resizable Bar. @6:30 into their review of the card they show the "Minimum System Requirements" of the GPU which includes a Resizable Bar or Smart Access Memory compatiable motherboard. Clearly, it works without Re-Bar or SAM, but looking at those numbers I can see why Intel would prefer you ran it with them.

Thought I would ring and speak to someone at OC about my order (Intel version). Was told that they don't have an exact date but some more are due in January. I'm in no rush so I guess I'll wait and see.
