Intel to launch 6 core Coffee Lake-S CPUs & Z370 chipset 5 October 2017

From the article, translates to:
"0 diagrams, 0 documentation and 0 NDA. I practically could have published this article almost a week ago (if I moved faster). And this is all because there's no more Intel Romania.
It doesn't matter. The processors weren't produced here. But at least they [Intel Romania] would have dealt with sampling and signing NDAs."

That gives a lot of context!
So basically, Intel Romania closed earlier this year and they're not supplying any Romanian outlets with any review samples, so the outlets just got them from unofficial sources and published the reviews early since they don't have any NDAs to follow and I presume also as a sort of middle finger to Intel.

Probably another fake review :D

Interesting stuff...

But even if the launch of this CPU is made on the knee, the processor is damn cool. It also adds everything you wanted from a 7700K. More power. A lower temperature and not the same quad core as 5 years ago.

What to do next ?! The 8700K is significantly more powerful than the 7700K and even becomes an alternative to Ryzen for those who produce content.

But I'm telling you a secret. In terms of gaming, the star is not 8700K, but 8600K overclock. 8600K is a real beast. It's cool and can run steady at 5.3 GHz using an AIO cooler.

RIP Ryzen?

The ryzen 1080p looks real bad here minimums in the 20's.

Think I'm finally going to upgrade my 3570k/280x to a 8600k/1070ti and going to pick up gta 5 at the same time. I been putting off a lot of the good graphic games that I can't max out.

Which will likely perform better in games, an i5 8600k or an i7 7700k? I know official performance isn't out yet, but all these leaks must have some answers.

id grab a 8600k so down the road you could toss in a 8700k in a year or so when they show up 2nd hand.

But I would assume to get 5.3ghz you would need to spend atleast £100+ on an AIO cooler. And isn't 5.3ghz only going to be for the best golden samples? A stock speeds comparison would be interesting to see if there is one.

Yeah needs an AIO or a good air cooler, who doesn't have one of those these days?
Cannot comment but leaks suggest 5.3ghz is on most samples has been achievable.
We only have the lab 501 review to go by http://lab501.ro/procesoare-chipset...-8600k-coffee-lake-aorus-z370-ultra-gaming/17
