Blimey O'Reilly!! There's a lot been going on while i've been working!!

Jamesdavid3 - fair enough that's your opinion and you're entitled to it but I for one disagree.
I don't like meeting guys in bars or pubs because they're the wrong type of guys. As other's have said internet dating doesn't mean sitting in front of your p.c. all evening. it's just another way to meet someone more suited to you, then you arrange a date in person and see how it goes.

I don't turn down an evening out with friends so i can sit and email people lol.

As you have a gf and don't agree with internet dating I dont see how this thread could be relevant to you, you've expressed your thoughts on it but it's time to step back and let us "weirdos" have a chat and give advise where needed. :)

right lads - quick question for you....

went on a date Monday, he said he would text me. So because he said that I haven't text him. Still nothing. I'm getting the feeling he wasn't interested. What's your opinion?

If I'd just been on a date with a girl I really liked I'd have texted the same night, if not then atleast the next morning,

I'd say he isn't bothered:(

If you liked him give him the benefit of the doubt for a few more days (next Saturday latest).

If you suspect he's experianced with dating though then perhaps it's not such a good sign. If he's not experienced then he might have meant he'd text when he's free for another date...

just my inexperienced thoughts.

Have you watched 'He's just not that into you' ? If not the general gist is if he is interested he'll go through hell and highwater to contact you!

I haven't seen it yet lol

well put it this way, another guy i've been talking to on match is travelling round Europe at the moment. Yet while in Paris he managed to find time to go to an internet cafe and email me.

I know this guy from monday said he was busy but if he was interested he should've text by now and if he isn't then he should have had the decency to say "sorry i dont think we're a good match"

i've wasted time before giving guys a chance then they've turned out to be messing me around.

oh well, you win some you lose some

Jambo - maybe but it still would've been nice to have got a text saying thanks for the evening or something if he was interested. i was going to text him yesterday to say it but as he said he would text i was waiting for him to message before i did. now i feel if i do text he might think (if he's not interested) that i havent got the hint

men are confusing! they are worse than women!

I think its great, and it works. I only use plenty of fish. been on 4 dates so far, 2 girls were horrible, found one atlast who is great!

Can we please get back on track please....

So internet dating seems to be growing, good times for you guys

you're a bit of an idiot ain't you?

come into a Internet dating THREAD bashing the people that do it? seriously, click back on your browser and go screw your fantastic girlfriend you found in a nightclub... i mean wow, most girls i see in nightclubs are absolutely stupid little girls, and are often followed around by a group of equally pathetic little "boys".... just what you sound like to be honest.

and before you whine about personal insults you've insulted everyone in this thread that is doing Internet dating. What goes around comes around.

Don't you have his number? :)

I don't want to sound rude when I say this, but you have no idea what goes on in his personal life, he could have a lot of things happening at the minute so don't get overly paranoid just yet, if he's worth it, he'll come back! :)

@Overlag - 5 star post. Don't like what certain people are doing in this thread? Stay out, it's their business and giving them grief over it isn't winning anyone over fella.

Have decent photos, be of at least average attractiveness, and have an interesting profile.

This is by no means a guarantee, but pretty much a bare minimum requirement to get any interest/responses.

I'm guessing Plentyoffail is like most dating sites where the male members significantly outnumber the female members so the guys have to make much more 'effort' just to get interest/responses.

can you not sign up again after 6months?

Has anybody tried signing up again using the cashback sites after the previous sub expired?

Give him 1 week, if no contact come Sunday then move on.
