Personally to me POF looks a bit chavvy and full of a lot of people just after one thing.

as for profile writing i would say - be honest (obviously!) try not to sound mopey i.e. nothing like "im sick of being single" because it sort of screams desperate/not doing it for the right reasons

maybe include what youre looking for in a girl.

Guess it totally would depend on area, but I did alright, both made a friend and gf, and I have 3 female friends on it at the moment who have had a bunch of dates with non-chavvy types.

Guess it's down to the person to sort the wheat from the chav (sic) :D

Text him if you like him! Don't act like you're annoyed with him for not texting though and try and bring up some banter from the other night. Be brief and a bit cheeky. There could be millions of reasons why he hasn't texted (maybe he's overthinking it too :p) and if nothing comes of it then you've lost nothing.

Ha Ha that made me laugh, about being sick of being single.

I guess that goes with out saying with being honest, mind you i guess there are a large number of people that arnt. Ill get crack on it over the weekend i think.

No, it's not that bad at all. Have to say that internet and films stick out for me, then after the film bit you suddenly say how you want to be more active. That screams, I'm a lazy boy and can't really be bothered.


Trying not to be harsh, but just try something a little more random rather than soo normal. O freak, what do I know :p :D

Only 1 out of all my female friends actively does any sport/excercise, and most said active gym types are a turn-off, lol.

And no, they are not all porkers :p

Why thank you. I did have a glance at your Match one. Would've winked but y'know, my chav credentials are probably a turn off so I didn't bother!

I've had a good amount of success with 'net dating, and am getting married next year to a girl I met on match.com :)

Re profile, I would say:
- Be honest (there's no point in white lies, or 'creative truths')
- Show personality!
- Don't rush it, and if you have friends you can trust, give it to them for a second opinion
- Don't make it too short.
- Include a variety of pictures of you doing different things in different places - this shows effort on your behalf, and demonstrates you like exploring.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Hmm. Just wanted to get the taking archery up in there as I am actually doing it! Will change it later.

I thought it was a little random anyway, unless you're talking about someone else!

EDIT: Changed it around a bit now, if you'd care to cast your critical eye over it!

And damn you for quoting it! Now people wont see that lovely pic I found for them!
