Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

haha that's mean. he didn't seem a weirdo lol.

I just basically put that i've recently met someone who i think i've really connected with so am planning to see how things go and that i hope he finds what he is looking for etc etc

Just the one now lol :D ( the others i said bye bye to a while ago but this other one took ages to email back!)

and am still keeping FF a secret :p

edit: actually I think he like's it..maybe he's embarrassed lol :p

After a night out with my mates on Friday 1st August 2008 where i got bored & came home early I read this thread whilst really drunk & signed up to that "plenty of fish" site in the early hours of the morning.

Got a message from a girl about 16 miles away on Sunday the 3rd, exchanged messages for a week or so, then a few phone calls, then she talked me into going & meeting her one night (16th Aug 2008).

We've now been on holiday abroad once together, I stop over at hers on average 2-3 nights a week and we've been together "properly" for over 11 months now.

I used to be really skeptical about this sort of thing, thought it was full of wierdos, but it's made me happy!
 
Congrats lad, there are a lot of success stories out there :)

Well I am in communicado with a young lady friend. Been sending casual messages over the past week or so. Lining up for a meeting, getting subtle hints from her so I'll give it a go. Bit different this one in that she isn't insane (thus far) and seems to have her head screwed on.

after using POF for over a year and finding nothing but crazy women and chavs, finnaly come across an absolute gem. Chatting on facebook chat, every night for a few hours and on the phone last night. I just hope it can transfer to the outside world, be gutted if it didnt, shes so nice. :p and a chatterbox :D meeting tommoorow, and i nearly gave up on that site a few weeks back , thank god i didnt :eek::eek:
 
I met my other half on the internet. Been going out for 3 years now. We see each other once a month as we live 260 miles away from each other!
 
Just found out at work today that apparently I'm signed up and on Uniform Dating!!
Someone girl at work had been browsing through it and my photo pops up!
Someone has got hold of a photo and decided to advertise me on there!
It's got to be a friend as they know a lot about me!
Needless to say I'm pretty *****d off with it and have asked it to be removed!

Not knocking internet dating but I'll do it if and when I choose to!

You never know SS might like a guy in a uniform ;)
 
its only certain uniforms lol and its hard to explain why it's appealing lol :D

obviously it depends on the guy as well its not just any bloke in uniform. they have to look good in it :p


edit: going back on track, the guy I emailed the other day replied thanking me for being honest as he said most people just stop replying rather than having the decency to say "im no longer interested."

also I seem to be getting winks from people who i've previously said no thanks to. One guy emailed so I replied back saying no thanks, he then winked at me :confused: i'm not trying to be nasty but if i'm not interested a wink isn't going to change my mind lol

Just talking to the one guy now :)

I wouldn't get over excited. People can be very different in person.

How are her pics? Myspace angles?
