I never have much lucki seem to get messages and i think with whats happening with the other girl i like (but she doesnt like me anymore) ...it somehow stops me from being myself and i dont get many replies back

It seems to always bring me back to sq 1 of unhappyness when i think of this one thought, and i get it a lot everyday....her being with a new guy makes me feel sick and angry....I need to move on i know, Its just really hard, But i really appreciate all the help and bits of advice i get from some members on here

Same situation as me. Was with the love of my life for 3 years, she dumped me and got with another guy 3 weeks later (at her uni, so don't know if they were playing around before or not).
Best thing is cut ALL contact if you haven't already, and think she's a bitch.

Never one internet dating, but the internet did get me flirting with a lass who ended up, with her husband, deciding to get me down to London from John O Groats 'through hell or high water'.
Seems to have worked, seven years down here [and a nervous breakdown, but we'll let that slide
] and I'm now a somewhat bigger fish in the IT industry moving up to a smaller pond called Scarborough.
I'm not a fan of dating anyway - much more of a 'random encounter in the pub' sort of chap, as with a lass I met last Friday - got a good snog out of her, but not phone number; pointless as by Sunday I'll be 400 miles away, and it's not like we were soulmates or owt

at the risk of sounding like it's personal experience, a friend once replied to a loadfd of gumtree posts and said they're all just "come see me at <random website> on cam"

when you say fake, do you mean she was a guy, or just not who the pictures show? but either way, short of wanting to ****with your head, why do people do it? why pretend to be someone else, either way you're both going to end up regretting it and looking stupid :/
