Wtf, I've been talking to a girl now for over a month, constantly messaging every day, all good general chit chat, last Wednesday asked her out for a drink and havnt heard anything since, no reply response or anything.....dunno if I can be arsed now :s
Bleh, what gets me is we were actually really getting to know each other pretty well! And then nothing
Yeah I had this - Same scenario, then all I did was ask for her number and next thing her account was closed.....like WTF?

Had same thing happen to me, maybe they just wanted someone to talk too but then it all got a bit real lol, surely if you just want to chat you would go talk to one of your friends ?
If you want a WTF i got talking to a girl last night when i was out, ended up kissing, she gave me her number and told me her name.. just out of curiosity i put her name in facebook this morning and she was in the top results which nearly never happens does it ? i tried to add her and sent her a little message just saying hi.. i hope this is cool.. would be nice to talk to you.. what happens next, she blocks me lol, crazy cow, suffice to say i have deleted her number and its a shame because she seemed a nice girl.

Yes it was her mum and her mums boyfriend (sorry for the confusion there)
and yes it was very very strange from what seemed like a normal girl.. i was walking her towards my car to take her home as it was literally on the way back home and they walked round the corner and next thing we are going into another bar... to be fair her mum and boyfriend seemed pretty normal and i got the impression she was as crazy as that most of the time from the way they carried on.
I think partly because i realized i had wasted my evening already and to see how much stranger the situation could get i decided to join in with this drink.. i wish i hadn't
She rang me last night absolutely wasted as well, madness

I currently have a POF profile. Unfortunately I don't get any messages nor do I get replies. Not that I'm complaining like.
My profile is quite witty (at least I think so) although there are a few negs in there so that may be a put off.
I always try to be different and put something daft in the subject line rather than just "Hey, you look cute" blar blar.
Saying that in a club or bar doesn't get you anywhere so why say it on the net?
I will keep my profile on there for a bit longer but part of me is wondering whether to just get rid.

Shotgun approach and just go mad with it, my last profile had two pictures of me. One pulling a stupid face and the other wasted at a festival. Nothing on my profile apart from "will fill this in later". I got replies from over 50%, need to be more witty/fun and direct them at the girl.
Get some pictures of you and your friends out or something, just so you don't look like a loner. The pictures are quite important sometimes.
I'll post a link to my pof at some point but i've received about 14 messages in the last 3 days or so (mainly from whales or girls who just don't fit the bill) but it isn't that hard to evoke interest when your profile is up to scratch with the obvious things.

Just checked and yeah they look good. Just read your about me and that's decent also, you just need to end it better and tell the girl what to do maybe.... I end with this:

I had a date yesterday with a girl off POF. I think it went really well. We met in London and grabbed a coffee and went to the Tate modern, which turned out to be a real hoot.
She was meant to head back at about 3 ish to baby sit for her sister, but cancelled and we ended up jumping on the tube and DLR to random places. Greenwich was great, lots going on with the ship they have anchored there for the Olympics. Ended up in Canary wharf, standing by the river chatting with the sun going down.
We spent about 7 hours together in the end. I'm not sure how cool to play it though now. I would like to ask her out next weekend too, but not sure if I should really do it yet. Struggling to get her out of my head today I must admit!

I friended this girl on Facebook through a family friend apparently she thought my picture was WOW HOT but now i'm starting to regret that, I gave her my mobile so we can chat when we get the chance however one text from me and I get like four back sometimes the texts keep coming until I tell her i'm going to bed or something. As soon as I go on fb I have a message and then a HI in chat, had to turn it off.
She even said in a club " I wish you was here with me " and a text at 1.15am!, Never met her either.
