I'm pretty sure the fourth one along goes by the name Holly Wellin, and is British, not Russian and is definitely not a girlfriend to meet your kids. Adverts are terrible. Didn't even realise there were any though: adblock ftw.

I have done it. I have created a comedy profile with pretty pictures of me. I can't wait till I get all the messages saying how they are all horny for me.

This is the second time I have created a profile so I expect it to be no different and only get messages from... the larger ladies.

well yeah i don't mean to say that everyone will reply

i for e.g. wouldn't be able NOT to reply as i find it hard to ignore people completely

for everyone im sure of it looks are the first thing then you go and read the profile etc etc and decide to reply or not.. but i mean there's nothing to lose by trying

Of course you look at looks, its the internet and dating, you cant fall in love with someones profile.

Just don't be too picky, message someone who is nice looking, internet dating is really awesome fun.

My Match subscription expired but I got a free month offer to use. While I'm seeing a girl right now from Match, doubt is starting to set in about her. Swear I'm getting more picky, cranky and far less willing to compromise in my old age. Don't have to be perfect, just perfect for me. Think I'm going to take up that offer and try again.

Was meant to meet this girl I've mentioned previously yesterday but she had to bail because of an ****** hangover. I've passed off the 'Its OK, happens all the time' stuff but I can't help but feel annoyed she's pulling out over something that was self-inflicted.

That said we're now seemingly on for Tuesday.

Surely the point is that you're out to meet new people that you think you would click with; you don't necessarily have to fancy them from the outset, but you may find that as you get to know them better you could end up with either a great new friend or something more? Not saying chase the fog beasts, but perhaps give people a chance, even if they don't look like Cameron Diaz...

Maybe I was doing it all wrong!

Had a gf once who decided to give up work because she thought I wouldn't mind providing for her. I didn't mind for a while but then she decided to use the spare time to go bang someone else while I was at work. Proof that some women are never happy. :/

I really don't know why I bother with all this any more especially POF!! Third time this year everythings going great, speaking on the phone, about to meet then BAM for no reason completely ignore you and delete there account :s

Been speaking to a girl who also like me has a 1 and a half year old little boy and she wanted to put a spin on things and take our little ones to Monkey Business for a first "date" which was supposed to be in 2 hours time! Didn't hear from her at all yesterday so I log into POF to see if I've missed a message, but oh no she's deleted her account and blocked me on Facebook! Some people really have no feelings at all

yeh there does seem to be a lot of timewasters online.

with cupid.co.uk I have had a couple of people I have been speaking to for over a month, then all of a sudden, nothing. why?!?!

I'm originally from Surrey but have lived in Cornwall most of my life, and have lived in this part of Cornwall now for about 6 years. I consider myself to be honest, friendly and genuine. I have two amazing boys aged 4 and 5, who stay with me 3 times a week.

WHAT I WANT :

lol nah I moved to cornwall when I was 4, but to a nice part. she just dragged me to a rubbish part lol.

WHAT I LIKE :

I enjoy watching films, and I must admit I am a typical guy and enjoy horror and action films, although partial to a good comedy too.
I really like live music, off to see Tim Minchin at Eden end of June. I wouldn't say I have a particular genre of music I prefer, but I would probably say most of my collection is rock based. Bands I like are Greenday, Linkin Park & My Chemical Romance. But I do also like the likes of Tim Minchin (he is a musical/comedy genius), Rihannah, Katy Perry.....and I don't mind a bit of dance music from time to time.
Comedy is also something I really like, especially stand up. As mentioned, I think Tim Minchin is excellent, I also like Russell Brand (although I think he has lost his way with stand up, but his films are good), Dara O'Briain, Russell Howard, Michael Mcintyre, Russell Kane to name but a few.
Obviously living in Cornwall going to the beaches is a must, and there are loads around this part. I am also currently trying to teach myself to play the bass, but I will be honest, I'm along way off being listenable.

but find everything ends in boring babbling. im no good at making it different and exciting, im much better at this stuff face to face.

is that better? I don't really have any hobbies or do anything in my spare time as I don't know anyone (other than my ex, her family or the annoying people from work) which is why I decided to give internet dating a go. even if I don't find love on it, I might find some nice people to go out with as mates and maybe meet that someone special whilst out
