His marital status says "Not single/not looking" and his interests are "Clubbing and history books". Not what I'm looking for![]()
those are the lucky ones. some of us don't even get the help of benefitsit is a truly shocking place to live. I guess tourists only see the nice side of it.
mischief, my age range is 25-31 (any older would just be weird).
Of course you look at looks, its the internet and dating, you cant fall in love with someones profile.
Just don't be too picky, message someone who is nice looking, internet dating is really awesome fun.
Lol @ some of the banners on POF -_-

I really don't know why I bother with all this any more especially POF!! Third time this year everythings going great, speaking on the phone, about to meet then BAM for no reason completely ignore you and delete there account :s
Been speaking to a girl who also like me has a 1 and a half year old little boy and she wanted to put a spin on things and take our little ones to Monkey Business for a first "date" which was supposed to be in 2 hours time! Didn't hear from her at all yesterday so I log into POF to see if I've missed a message, but oh no she's deleted her account and blocked me on Facebook! Some people really have no feelings at all![]()
with cupid.co.uk I have had a couple of people I have been speaking to for over a month, then all of a sudden, nothing. why?!?!
Perhaps there are some emotionally needy people out there who want the attention and ego boost, but not the commitment.
Well, I am me, always have been, always will be. First impressions are I am quiet but confident, but once you get to know me I am much more than that. Now the question is, can you be bothered to get to know me? if not, then I'm obviously not the one for you, so time to move on.
what more to say, well I suppose the best way to find out is to ask. and even if we don't 'click', no harm in talking to new people and making new friends.
ABOUT ME :
I'm originally from Surrey but have lived in Cornwall most of my life, and have lived in this part of Cornwall now for about 6 years. I consider myself to be honest, friendly and genuine. I have two amazing boys aged 4 and 5, who stay with me 3 times a week.
WHAT I WANT :
I'm looking to meet someone that shares similar interests to me, but I also believe its nice to enjoy some different things too. I mean, no one wants to be dating themselves.
In a women I look for someone that is kind, genuine, and funny. Someone that is confident, but not in your face with it. Someone who makes conversation, things go a lot better when people are not afraid to offer their opinions and views without feeling they just have to agree with everything.
To start with a few casual meetings getting to know each other and seeing where it leads.
Intro no.2. I think no.1 sounds like you don't even want to be on POF and a little rude.I know they are both bad, but which one is the better to work with, or am I fighting a losing battle?

You used to live in Surrey? That's one big sacrifice you made for your ex then by moving to Cornwall!
Talk about your interests under the "About Me" section. What your hobbies are, or any interesting things that you'd like to do but haven't had the chance to do yet.
Have you listed your interests as well? (there's a small box where you put in your interests and hobbies)
Interests
Films Music Football
Cars Socialising Walks on beach
Go Karting
WHAT I LIKE :
I enjoy watching films, and I must admit I am a typical guy and enjoy horror and action films, although partial to a good comedy too.
I really like live music, off to see Tim Minchin at Eden end of June. I wouldn't say I have a particular genre of music I prefer, but I would probably say most of my collection is rock based. Bands I like are Greenday, Linkin Park & My Chemical Romance. But I do also like the likes of Tim Minchin (he is a musical/comedy genius), Rihannah, Katy Perry.....and I don't mind a bit of dance music from time to time.
Comedy is also something I really like, especially stand up. As mentioned, I think Tim Minchin is excellent, I also like Russell Brand (although I think he has lost his way with stand up, but his films are good), Dara O'Briain, Russell Howard, Michael Mcintyre, Russell Kane to name but a few.
Obviously living in Cornwall going to the beaches is a must, and there are loads around this part. I am also currently trying to teach myself to play the bass, but I will be honest, I'm along way off being listenable.

I wouldn't say I have a particular genre of music I prefer, it really depends on my mood.
