I have been using online dating for ages now and I am probably going to give up soon. I have had tons of emails read deleted recently.
There's always my stalker if it comes to it.I actually quite like my stalker but I am a bit scared of her.

My own experiences.
Met a gal in a chat room when Microsoft still used to have them. I noticed she was quiet and not participating much so me and her got talking privately. Things progressed nicely and we met up after a week or so, had fun a few times and have been mates without benefits to this day.

Am talking to a nice guy I found on PoF at the mo, been sending emails for the past couple of weeks and we've now swapped numbers.
Trouble is, I know that at some point soon he's going to call me and I find the 'first phone call' far more scary than actually meeting someone! In person I'm fine but over the phone I just clam up into shy mode
Really? I like phone calls again and find face to face as scary mode for obvious reasons
. The only time I met a girl from online, we spent over 2 hours on the phone the first call. We just talked about anything and everything.!!!!!
Part of me thinks that it's too good to be true and I'm being set up, but it isn't the case at all.
It funnily enough ties in with something my ex (who is still a good friend) said.
Whenever she'd end it with a guy, the next relationship they got in to is the one they are still in to date! Almost like in Good Luck Chuck.

Krooton, you should write a guide for OcUKers, and how to use PoF, you always seem to score. But then again it could be your good looks in the pictures, e-charm, or even your PC spec list that gets them moist

I most certainly do not always score, this has been my track record:
1st date, horrendously overweight, sneaky profile pictures.
2nd date, we hit it off, but I never made a move, and we are now really good friends.
3rd date, was born a man!
This new lady seems to be the business though! I haven't been this excited about someone in years, haha!
That said, life doesn't half have a sense of ironic nastiness towards me! 
Things are going well so far prior to us meeting up, but I've now also been contacted by someone I messaged a while back, and she's being very flirty and is insanely hot!
But much younger, big time party animal (me 5 years ago, lol) and not a patch on the other one in terms of connecting.
Typical though! lol

Sounds like mine thus far...
1, was also overweight and looked ten years younger and ten stone lighter in the photos
2, ran off screaming into the hills (at least I assume so as after the second date I never heard from her again)
3, had a few too many screws loose (although her pasty was really nice.

I've never done the standard message thing. If you are using shotgun/trawler tactics it's needed, but I don't do that.
Ahhh right just wondering really. So normally a fewlines in freestyle then? haha.
