Yeah there's a reason I haven't linked to my profile. Well many reasons. One being this is OcUK forums. Also, I am brutally honest about myself in my profile. 3 years, five months, possibly one of POF's greatest success stories

Had my first POF date yesterday, went really well, had a great day. Just think she wants a bit more than I'm prepared for at the moment, I'd like to test the water a bit more but I feel awful because she's so sweet!

Had a date yesterday, had been chatting quite a bit on pof prior to arranging the date. Originally we only planned on meeting up for an hour to see how things went. In the end the date lasted 2 hours 45 minutes. However got a text today to say that whilst she had had a good time, she didn't see a future for us. I thought the date went well and was disappointed that, for whatever reason, she didn't want a second date. Back to square one. Again.

If they recognise you on there from before, then they are just as big a loser as yourself regardless if they had a relationship inbetween when they first saw you and now that they have returned to POF/etc.

Well known fact though that girls rarely search.

You are better off hiding your profile, doing it up and then showing it off in all it's [complete] glory.

I'm in the same boat though, not managed to get a meet up from any of it, even just expanding my network by being forward for a facebook contact is lengthy. :/

In a way, you have to 'trick' girls into meeting up with you.
Put up your best pics, if the girl likes your pics then she'll agree to meet up with you. If she doesn't like you in real life then tough. I've met up with a few guys who looked really different to their pics, but it's Internet dating... Just have to deal with it. Or leg it..

i went out with the girl.. not a date obviously i would never hit on a girl with BF but we had fun.. we walked around chatted etc for 7hrs.. kinda expanding my circle of friends lol.
