Backtracking? Maybe you're reading a dictionary different to the rest of us. Anyway, your comment was obviously a tad ridiculous, anyone with an iota of common sense wouldn't think anything else. My point was that despite your exaggeration, men are no less guilty of these kind of things than women. If you want to change that into an accusation of backtracking in order to assuage your fragile little ego then by all means go ahead. I'll be herewith my "self-proclaimed sharp little wit" chuckling to myself at you getting your knickers in a twist. And don't expect me to grace you with another reply on the issue. :D

Hmmm so how many women do you message on average before getting a reply ?

Either something is very wrong on my pictures or i keep messaging people who don't even log in anymore.... i've messaged around 10 over the last 2 months....

Hmm, doesn't it say when they last logged on? Either way, on the UK POF you can message 20 women and sometimes not get a reply. What are your messages like, short and sweet, or a re-write of Gone With The Wind?
 
On pof i get about a 50% response rate.

Had some weird ones, one girl I didn't text for a day then got a load of abuse that i didn't care. Hadn't even met her yet!

Pretty short and sweet, often with something around a similar interest that we have.
 
I really don't get it.

I message girls on POF that are like "So yeah, if you want to know anything or ask any questions just send me a message", some that and "I won't bite", so I find something of interest out of their profile (which shows I've read it), then ask a question on that, and no reply back.

What the hell am I supposed to say?

"Hey there girl, wanna bum?"
 
It's really difficult for me too.

It's my height that lets me down (5'5) :(

I rarely get a girls message first and I probably get a 25% reply rate if I message first.
 
Oh hold on someone just messaged me.....she's not my type though...grrrr...the ones i message never reply, i've had 2 from ones i'm just not interested in

My goodness that's quite a mouthful. I saw a few words which were too big for me on a Sunday evening so just gave up. One of them looked like "sausage" but it wasn't.

I honestly don't find any girl without a bit of a belly attractive, nothing much.

Vanessa Ferlito in Death proof just spoiled me far too much. Also find tan's/too much makeup/hair extensions a real turn off.
