Fair enough if you find the larger ladies attractive, but I think it's more natural and nicer to see if these 'curves' are of muscle definition rather than sacks of fat (excluding breasts of course) par example;

I said before some people actually either have an eating problem/don't eat healthily enough or take it too far, however some people are just naturally bigger (Though not to the point where they're clinically obese).

Genetics definitely have a part to play in how our bodies grow and respond to certain types of exercise and food. To claim otherwise is simply insane, but people take it way too far and use it as an excuse.

Used PoF (no messages) and OKCupid (several messages but amounted to nothing) for over half a year, no dates. Time for a rethink. Updated my PoF profile as on closer inspection it didn't sell me that well.

as daft as it sounds OK is a better site, I've had far more dates as far as relationships go. PoF isn't as good imho. I've generally found friendlier girls on ok compared to PoF.

Half a year and not one date??? I wouldn't call myself a Casanova but last year I went with about a dozen different girls in that sort of time frame. My advise to you would be not to be to fussy and just get lots of messages sent. The more rods and hooks you use the better chance you have of catching something.

Pictures are important but its not the be all and end all as some people make it out to be.
 
Freddie - I have tried that with OK. 90% of the women (mostly Quiver matches) I message I don't get a reply. I'm not particularly fussy but 90% of the women who message me really aren't my type. Annoying cycle lol.

Zefan - microphone pictures are from my VP Finance role at my student union (hosted a lot of events) a couple of years back. In fact the pink shirt I am wearing is my campaign shirt "Vote for da fro" :p:o. The one with the purple lighting is used in most of my profile pictures.

Sinny - always preferred OK but got the impression messaging seems more frequent with POF (excluding me lol). I was expecting a slightly better outcome than this.
Keep at it I suppose :)

Your profile is kind of... factual, like a series of statements. Inject some more character or humour into it.

Sometimes it can be caused by anything though, while I do like to laugh about the fact I used to be a right chubber, it's sometimes hard to not eat crap. I've had arguments over it as I never buy really unhealthy food unless I'm out.

Yet on the other hand all I do is eat eat eat yet im slim.
 
I got a lot more messages and more attention on POF when I changed my profile from a "Hi, I am Nick, I work here and I do this, I like blah blah blah" type profile to something which went something like this:

...then I just listed stuff that randomly came to my head. I was drunk, so the list was on the ridiculous side and apparently made quite a few people laugh. I got a lot of messages saying how much I'd made them laugh and how is was the funniest profile they'd seen. I've got a text document on my work laptop with it all actually so I can post it if I can find it. But yeah, girls like funny, and it worked it seems. I'm coming up to 1 year with the most awesome girl ever and we're moving to Canada together on 19th March next year :D

Be different if you can, be funny without it feeling forced. Or do what I did, get drunk and write a new profile.

I haven't cut my hair for 9+ years - it stopped growing years ago. My natural (basically a result of not brushing after washing) hair looks quite a bit different and quite good. Not too keen with cutting it other than lobbing off some of the back and getting some growth back in the front. My excuse for not cutting was living in Surrey most of my life so no black hair dressers, I live near Lewisham now so no excuses.....so I do agree with you just reluctant :o
