online messaging is boring people, for both parties! try and make it last no more then 4 days and you've got a number, and then get a date asap after that point. imo it's very unfair to judge someone based on an online dating message after a few as it's so unnatural that you really do need to click for something to keep going, but tbh i've always found most convo's are just silly jokes, nothing of any impotance even about a proper subject, e.g. one girl was into politics too which for me was the first i've ever met a girl who knows about politics, so when i messaged i made jokes about it but didn't really discuss the subject, that's for meeting up and is fun, online it's boring to discuss that rubbish.
thought i'd also say i've managed to get another date with a girl i discovered i think thursday, and saturday was wasted anyway as i accidentally blocked her, but ended up being a great excuse to have her number, then after 3 texts today date is booked for next sunday. only downside is i'm not sure how to play this 7 day wait until a date, do i keep text messaging about general chit chat, or do i go quite and perhaps send one or 2 over the week, but risk showing a lack of interest.
