Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

I met my ex online, we were together for 2 years. I also met my current boyfriend online, happy accident really as I went on to delete my faceparty profile, been together a little over 2 months so still early days but its good.

There are some right nutters on there but its just like the real world you get you loons and your normals.
 
Online dating + Jersey, still not much of a pool to choose from.
On P.O.F there's 22 people I can go through and most of them are a right bunch of "txt spkng lk dis al de tme chavs." Too old for my liking or don't meet any type of criteria.

There's one lass though who rally's cars and has other similar likes but I found looking for people with too many close likes isn't necessarily always a good thing.

I find if they like everything you like. they get all up in your stuff all the time 24/7 with no respite for your own time.

This is why I've always resulted in dating girls off island, canada, denmark, austria...etc, but I simply can't afford that any more and it really sucks spending months apart! :p

I'd honestly have an easier time if I decide to go gay, I've been asked by more men in real life than women!! :cry:

Anyone fancy coming to Jersey for the summer? :(

If you want to enjoy your life, then move off of a small island with a small population and decidedly ropey gene pool. :p

Hahaha ropey gene pool, you got that right!

Families with a long history on the island, be it rare look/act very odd.
But my parents are both from Austria so I don't have to worry about that sort of stuff.


Moving away isn't that easy + I'm not an EU Citizen.

Thats what put me off last night lol and I kept getting messages from people asking for chats on msn etc

datingdirect seems to be laid out much more easily.

although i cant keep up. i had 7 emails saying "someones winked at you" "someones emailed you" etc

so I logged on to check and while i'm replying to an email it pops up again "someones emailed you"

although its mainly blokes saying "hi how are you?"

someone has given me their number already as he wants me to call him for a chat but im not interested. I only replied to be polite!

i was having a nosey around the site and found i can see who's viewed my profile. The guy i had messaged last night viewed it but didnt reply to my email so maybe i'm not his type. ah well!

someone was really sweet though and messaged saying

"hello
excuse me firstly, not your perfect match but was going to send wink. But thought i just say you have lovely smile. "

It would be sweet if he hadnt coped and pasted it to everyone girl online at the time.
