The question is... why the **** would you be so lame that you felt the need to create a fake profile on a dating site and try and "seduce" fellow men? Are there not better and slightly more mature things to do with your time? I seriously wonder about some people.

I know. In the end I told them I was a pretty girl pretending to be a guy to see how it was.
They were clearly quite young because they tried to speak to me normally after that and get me to send pics.

You should have sent them a pic of your hairy (hairless?) donger covered in blood-like ketchup with a message saying "This is what you made me do, I hope you're happy now"... that would have taught them to mess with angry dating site members.
Haha! I just reported them as fakes in the end, I can imagine a fair few people falling for it.

So are the dating sites you pay to join, not as good as the likes of POF?
I'd imagine you'd get less ppl hu tlk lyk dis and fewer fakes/more genuine people?

It's not that, the pay sites generally have less people who talk as you say, but what the free sites have over the pay sites is the sheer number of people using them. You usually find more interesting birds on the free sites too.
I've sent off god knows how many messages, actually putting effort into them, seen as most people complain they only get mail saying "Hey" or something, and that they'll respond to all emails blah blah. I've just realised something though about using these websites and experiencing the above, it's actually made me less bothered about rejection, which is starting to help me in real life, happy days lol.
I have no idea why but the pay ones are absolute crap.
You'd have thought people were more serious about finding someone on there / more trust in that the profile is real but alas it's actually worse on there.
I have had many many more mails on POF that lead somewhere other than up the garden path.
