yup! tis what im thinking!
ill probe a few more Q's first though

i really cba with girls like that.. its quite obvious they put little to no effort and hey i dont care about it too much but you either reply properly or don't reply at all.. this fafing around is just a waste of time :)

tbh i would play around with her and tell her that she is really good at keeping convos! really a special kind of girl and just say that you love chatting with her.. and invite her to a book readers club where you could both sit and read books..

She'll know you're taking the **** so you're largely wasting your time there too.

So I started going out with a sort of FWB as she asked me out after getting jealous that I was going on a date with someone else (POF). I've liked her for a while so thought all was good. However, it seems rather awkward now and don't feel as though both of us are particularly happy with it. So much so, we've hardly contacted each other over the last couple of days and pretty sure we will end things the next time we see each other. Bit of a shame as we were good friends and the benefits were the best I've had it!

Anyway, the reason I'm posting in this thread... I was feeling a little down about the above so thought I'd send out a message on POF to a lovely looking girl. We've been chatting back and forth and seem to get on pretty well. I'm going to ask her out on a date but the problem being, I won't see my 'girlfriend' (doesn't even sound right) until mid next week.

Would it be alright to go out before then or should I wait until I've spoken to her?

I know it sounds shallow but I have tried with the current girl but she isn't putting any effort my way. My thinking is, if I don't hit it off with the POF girl, I could just continue to see how things go.

well it comes down to what you want.
if YOU want things to work out with the girlfriend, then talk to her about it. Ask her whats holding her back and why she is not putting an effort in. Try to sort it out.
or if you don't, then i would cut it off with her and try the POF girl.

in regards to seeing the new girl while your still with the other girl, it comes down to what your morals are, as well everyone is different.
if it was me, i would make sure i knew where i stand with the girlfriend first before arranging anything with someone else. Its your call, as it could be classed as "cheating"

Been talking to this slamming bird, been texting for about a week, but is really shy and doesn't want to talk on the phone yet, starting to think she is actually a man.

One of my top matches is a girl I met on a night out at University at my last ever campus club night before graduation. We danced, drank, laughed and kissed but I lost her at the end of the night without getting her name or her number. I remember she studied foreign languages though, so I sent her a message asking if she went to the same Uni and studied MFL. Instant reply, yes she did and I seem familiar.

This could be interesting :D

so the girl who put in no effort has been dropped, i asked if she wanted to know anything about me and i got no response..... haha

BUT! now im having a conversation with two different girls on POF! im normally lucky to get one!

Definitely wait until you've spoken with your girlfriend. But then as FatFish says it depends entirely on your morals, and you've already been messaging a lass even though you're with someone...

I think that means you've been dropped buddy, but don't threat she wasn't worth the effort anyway.

starting to fizzle out already....
current convo!

me: oh right haha
whats he called? (talking about her dog)

he:buddy

me:cool name!
i have 3 fish!

her:cool

Me:so whats your favourite film of all time then?

her: Back to the future

me:cool!
whats your favourite tv show?

her:catfish

me: cool.

Edited to show what my response would be.

nope!

neither one of the girls that was messaging me has replied for a while, but they have been online since.
think i need to learn how to keep women more interested! and learn more patience!

Yeah there's no harm in waiting a while to reply, if you fire off instant replies things will just fizzle out before you actually make any progress.

I'd always be causious with a lot of the girls on the sites, four of my friends have gotten girls from dating sides and all four have had complete nightmares. Thats not great odds (tho i admit its not a huge sample size).

Defiantly a good tip! Cracking of instant replies to everything is a quick way to shoot your self in the foot! (basically the fine line between keen and too keen)

Only other pro tip I have this week is if you get them on Facebook, clear it up up of awkward ex photos... I can't be bothered to do mine yet but it seems to put off the odd woman (saving the hard work for when worth while women gets to that level)
