Is there any justification for them not including a micro sd slot?

I was hoping the £150 mark as these were going to be presents for this christmas. Looks like I won't be buying them if they are above £150.
Those prices are cheaper than i expected. I thought it would be a starting price of £329 (16Gb) and replace the iPad 2.
If it had a micro SD people wouldn't buy the higher capacity models. It's a business decision to maximise profits.
I know for definite that the ipad mini will be sold at Comet they have the SKU setup on the system but price is set at £9999.99 so they are on order. when i have more info will post

I know its not going to happen but an iPad Mini with Retina, A6 CPU and all day battery would be an instant purchase. If it is a smaller iPad 2 then I will wait until next year.
All day battery?? I know my ipad2 is bigger but

I know ipad2 battery is better than iPad 3 battery but that's still 30 hours usage and I might scrape 20 days on that charge. I've always been quite surprised and impressed but the battery of this thing.
