Take a printout of the error, and explain that it happens all the time. If you are continuing to have the issue, you have statutory rights, whether they "believe" you or not!
Interesting that it works fine on wireless. Perhaps you have a borked Infineon chipset (the mobile telephony part).... Does it drop calls a lot?
The only thing other than hardware that it could conceivably be is a problem with your O2 web setup? Either way, get a shiny new one first, then complain at O2 if it keeps happening....
