*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

Anyone else find fingerprints hard to wipe from the screen?

Sounds daft, but on my old 4 when it was new they almost slid off using a soft cloth, on the 5 it just seems to smudge the prints around. Perhaps a different coating, or a by-product of the thinner diplay

Overall I'm not wowed by the 5, it's very nice but I guess it's just what I expected - no more, and obviously using the thing is virtually identical to any other iPhone.

the wife got hers this morning, as a design piece its awesome, i mean its good looking and feels spectacular to hold but apart from that i think its poo and i think my S3 is far superior even though it feels cheap and plasticy to hold and its not exatly a stunner either.

Wow, quite surprised by the "earpods"...they're actually pretty good... :O

Now, do i use my CX300s, my more expensive Apple Headphones or these? :P

I personally think this generation of iPhones disappoints in terms of hardware and quality, especially when compared to other flagships such as the S3 and Nokia Lumia 920. However, I do miss iOS in particular as it works well with my current setup of iTunes, iTunes Match, iPad 2 and Airport Express adapter. I'm one of those guys who prefers software and ease of use for the average first time smartphone user than hardware and specs. ie. grannies vs geeks. Where I work, it's very important that you sell the best phone for the client, not the best phone out there.

I'm disappointed with the front screen. Doesn't feel as fingerprint proof or quality like the 4/4S. If anything, it actually feels like the screen of a handset I had previously, the HTC One V!

How much force did you exert to get those scratches sharingan_sasuk?

The edges are keyed pretty easily, while the back I had to apply a bit of pressure on to scratch it. So I believe the back should withstand light scratches fine, but it's the edge I would worry about.

Bet your boss loves you.

It's a demo. It's gonna go on display anyways :)

10 minutes using it and it's already as my 4S was, gotta love Apple and iCloud

UK Mail tried to deliver when I was out and now say I can't pick it up from their depot until Monday

Might go across tomorrow and see if I can get it anyway!!

Queued up at 5.30am outside my nearest o2 store, was 8th in line

Although I was in need for a new phone after my 4S was stolen a few months back it is hard to get excited when you actually get your hands on the latest model - all very samey feeling the iPhone's unfortunately, maybe Apple need to do a complete refresh of the iOS software (even though it's still the best mobile phone OS)
