My advice would be to call AppleCare or visit the store to log the complaint.

My replacement is being sent this week via courier, brand new. It's bad, but I know opening it will be agonising :(
 
Literally just brushed the metal bit next to my pocket on my jeans as I pulled it out and have a nice silver mark now :(

Can't stress how light the contact was, and it was hardly a rough or sharp surface. Pathetic!!
 
Just did a wireless speed test and am getting 80/15 on the speedtest application! :eek: Could barely get 19/10 on my iPhone 4, did the 4S have similar? I wonder what the other competition wireless speedtests are like.

iPhone 5 has dual band wireless 802.11n, whereas the 4S had a gimped version of 802.11n
 
Quick question - I have an iPhone 5 on reservation for pick up tomorrow. I currently have an iPhone 4S (monthly contract on O2) which I'm selling to a friend. I know I'll need to pick up a nano sim from O2 but I'm assuming an Apple Retail Store iPhone will be compatible with my existing O2 contract?

Cheers - apologies if its a dumb question - bit confused with phones being locked to certain vendors etc ... :confused::)

iPhones that Apple have are unlocked so yeah
 
Returned mine even if perfect now there is a problem. No way am I wrapping it up in case or using screen protectors to ruin the enjoyment of using a phone.

Will see if things improve.
 
what the hell with the battery it looses about 5 percent on standby every hour

just done clean restore but the same

i will wait 10 days than will return it

i have got white 32 gb version no scratches but 5 percent just every hour on standby

As stated above dropped mine downstairs phone all still as I got it. Though it be cracked but nope
