*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

How come your getting replacments while others are waiting for shipping from china

will be interesting to see things improve as batches come along.

Mine is in perfect condition, I usually take care of my things so all of my iPhones have remained in perfect condition. Although, if I did damage this I'd be annoyed. Any good places to get insurance?

Also; anyone had any problems with music play back? Earlier mine was skipping/repeating at random and I was unable to stop it playing? (would close the Music App but it would just continue playing, start playing as soon as it was switched back on after a switch off or reset)

what the hell with the battery it looses about 5 percent on standby every hour

just done clean restore but the same

i will wait 10 days than will return it

i have got white 32 gb version no scratches but 5 percent just every hour on standby

good job apple

It's it's first full charge for ***** sake. Buyers remorse and looking for a reason to send it back? :p

My wifes 4S was terrible the first two or three charges and then it settled down.

Hmm why do I always seem to be so fortunate when it comes to new products, no scratches, phone works perfectly, no screen issues, battery is far better than I expected and is quite better than my blackberry.

Guys , this has f all to do with batches the coating is fragile , same as HTC one s on hard angles etc the coating wont stand up no amount of batch changes will alter that fact .
Apple has made a VERY fast phone the fastest so far by the looks of it , and kudos to them .
But they have screwed up the construction.
Lighter is all good and well , but its a human fact that weight equates to quality. same with speakers cars etc .... if they had made the ip5 from stainless steel instead of alu . added weight yes but durable.

As for people getting a brand new over £500 phone marked and dented and saying its ok , get a grip ffs if you bought a new car and it was dented , would you say , ahhhh it ok it will be dented in future?.
or a tv and it had a bash ? ... No I didn't think so ....

Steve Jobs would never have let this happen , although we had antenna gate .
but tbh I think the poor guy at that time had more on his mind than the arieal on the iphone 4

Getting a case for an iPhone is like putting a Fiat Panda bodykit on a Ferrari. Why spend all that money on a phone that takes pride in the brilliance of its design if you're just going to cover it up with a case. Utterly pointless

Because phones aren't indestructible ;)
Also I'm not a girl and don't wear it like a fashion accessory :p

Apparently plenty of stock in apple stores... So why do people have 3 weeks wait for online order? If they cancel will takes ages to get money back so can't rush in to a apple store.

Because accidents happen and your example is retarded.

You buy a case to protect it, not to change the looks.

If you feel comfortable walking around with a £500-700 device that could be dropped at any time then that's your problem.

Criticising others (or the suggestion) for getting a case is just daft.

There is lots of stock of contract phones, PAYG are rare.

Neither the Bristol or Bath stores had any 16/32GB PAYG iP5s when I phoned but had stock of all the contract phones.

I've had one reserved apparently, but I'm going to phone up and double check.

While the iPhone is a very pretty phone it's still just a phone, if a case helps it or gives you peace of mind then put it in a bloody case. I always found the 4 more comfortable in a bumper and that was more valuable than it looking pretty.

Steve Jobs would never have let this happen , although we had antenna gate.

He was a marketing monkey, exactly the kind of person to let this sort of thing happen but who cares? The man's dead and can't change anything, get over it.

Judging by the impact tests you're going to have to work hard to do serious damage to the 5, a bit unfortunate they spoil that by making it very prone to cosmetic damage but it's probably better than the other way around.
