I'm wondering if once the demand dies down, if the quality will improve when the guys at Foxconn have less demanding targets to meet.
i.e they'll be able to leave the chassis bodies in the anodising tanks for longer, or less handling errors will occur resulting in less chips etc.

. Hopefully its just the first few batches that had this issue...
. It took me a while to make the decision but ultimately I dont trust the current anodising treatment and even with a perfect phone its unlikely to be anything like that at the end of ownership however well you look after it.
