*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

upgrading from the 4S to the 5 will be a waste of money.

There's not a big enough of a technology jump to notice any major differences.

Don't waste your money.

Why is it a waste of money? I can probably sell my 4S for a good amount as it's mint, the new one will be £499 or whatever - £100ish spend I imagine, which is what some people pee away on a night out. New screen, probably a couple of new features as it's a 'tick' not a 'tock', new toy to play with...

That chap posts the exact same thing when a new Apple product comes out, don't waste your time talking to him. Utter nonsense.

Don't have to justify to anyone how you spend your money. The iPhone 5 is going to be more than a decent enough upgrade from any handset. Like you say you can sell the 4S for almost what you bought it for.

I Will be selling my mint iPhone 4S shortly after I purchase the new iPhone 5 on the day of release but as you seem to know more about the iPhone 5 specs than anyone else please back up you claim instead trolling.

i have feeling that they will use a5 32 nm version found in ipad 2.4

that will last 30 more than current iphone 4s

also if they will add lte that chip will kill battery very fast

i am thinking of skipping this iPhone

With the latest phones LTE doesnt seems to affect that battery just look at the comparisoins of the One X tegra vs S4, the american S4 versions battery is a lot better even with LTE. The S3 has almost the same battery life between its 3g and LTE versions aswell.

I found the 4s lasted a lot longer than the 4,

I really have found the opposite in my own experience, its not bad battery life just doesnt last as long as with the 4.

Quite a common complaint and I can only agree with you. Mine is a day and half at most and have managed to kill it within a working day before (admittedly quite heavy usage)

Its not the worst battery life, just not as good as the 4. I really hope the 5 improves on this

Ignore Jimz. He's a 'special' troll.

I'm not trolling, I just cant understand that people want to rush out on day one and buy this new Iphone when its basically going to the exact same thing as the one your using now is doing. I'm so tired of telling people this then a few days after launch the already sold the previous device and said they didn't notice that much of a upgrade at all from the previous model so they wasted there time.

So I'm getting your going to get a faster CPU speed on the Iphone 5?
-I'm guessing the Iphone 4S Dual-core 1 GHz is just TOO SLOW for you to run your Iphone Apps such as Angry birds, Dead Trigger etc.... wow you must be getting lots of lag and slow downs playing all these very high demanding games

A Better Camera?
- You're saying that the 8-megapixel iSight camera is not good enough already for you?

You want to record in better video?
- I guess Video recording in 1080p is still not good enough for you?

I could go on and on and I have all this pure evidence to back myself up.

You're clueless, you talk utter rubbish and repeatedly miss the points being made. You didn't even mention the screen, which says it all.

The only person you're trying to convince is yourself. We get it, your parents won't buy you the new iPhone, therefore it's not actually very good. ;)

Jimz you can't possibly comment on this without knowing what the new iPhone will contain. And no one knows. So there's no point in discussing whether or not the next phone will be a worthy upgrade.

But if we were speculating - you'd still be wrong. :p NFC alone is a good enough reason to upgrade for me...

That's the thing though, he'll say it no matter what it contains as he has to convince himself not to get one as he can't/isn't allowed.

It's painfully obvious, strange behaviour.

I agree with the thing about the processor, unless something comes out meaning we need that extra power we are OK for now.

But the argument about cameras is just poor. Technology wouldn't advance if we thought "isn't what we have good enough?" As screen resolutions increase, we need to be able to take better quality pictures.

I doubt anyone upgrades for the processor alone, it's just a bonus. The better the architecture, the better the performance, and the more efficient the power usage. It actually makes a bigger impact on the battery life than people think.

I think some poeple are just brought into hype, over here I believe will wait to see how much of an upgrade it is, the real problem for me is the screens size and battery life. If those things are improve for me I would want to get it. Also the current SoC runs at 800mhz.

The thing is... sure it's not needed - but aren't we always looking to improve upon our technology and push the boundaries of mobile devices?

With a better CPU and graphics capabilities, app developers will have much more power to produce even better apps/games on the iPhone.

Totallllly, i mean Wayyyyy off the mark...

So you have old of your 8mp Camera iphone and the new iphone comes out with 12mp... (just a random number dont get wet over it) anyway... You wont accept one because you think 8mbs enough... Dude i thought donkey kong on the gameboy was enough until the gameboy colour come out... Need to grow up, or understand why people actually upgrade their tech...

Anyway;

Well the battery is *swearing* terrible, I would upgrade just for a better battery.

If the screen is being enlarged, I'm not sure what I think about it only being in height and not width...

Do they even push the boundaries with the current hardware though?

But yes, I totally agree with you.
