*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

They changed their plans a couple of weeks a go.

Did they? I checked their page earlier to find details of the nano sim and could have sworn they were still the same (i pay £15 for the sim 600 all you can eat).

Oh well, still, pretty poor.

Right let me get this straight?

For the first time i''be buying a Iphone. Been using a HTC Desire for the last 2 years or so. Want a change.

I buy from Apple online for £529 on PAYG of course, Apple will provide a PAYG Nano sim or what ever they are call. Because i dont see T-mobile up there on Apple website.
Currently i'm on a sim only deal with T-mobile. But im assuming i will have to ring T-mobile up for a Nano sim to use on new Iphone?

Thanks.

If you want to keep the sim only deal then you will have to phone t mobile who will transfer your sim only deal to a new nano sim, but check before that the deal you have isnt already on a nano sim.

Any ideas if TMobile would let me keep my existing SIMO plan (£15 a month) but provide me with a nanoSIM and access to 4G when it becomes available on EE? Just trying to work out if theyll cordone off 4G to specific contract plans which might make it more expensive to get a SIMO iP5 and then a seperate contract that isnt specifically SIMO to get 4G access...

I know 4G isnot ready yet and only covers certain cities so I wont get to use it that much, but Id rather have that as a bonus when out and about than be stuck on 3G+ speeds. Im still 50/50 about the phone but Id ratehr get the pre-order in as I can always return it without issue/cost...

When i phoned orange today i was told they would transfer my contract deal over to a new nano sim free of charge.

Should be the same for t mobile too.

Yeah, they got rid of the SIM300 and added the SIM200 and changed the SIM600 slightly.

Hi guys, my contract on my 4 with orange doesn't expire until the start of Dec. Will they still let me upgrade to the 5? :) also what happens with my number as I would very much like to keep it

Worth staying up till 12am to order? Or do you guys think it'll be from 8am?
May aswell stay up until 12 :)

They probably will, but you may have to pay off the rest of your contract.

You can keep it if you stay with orange. If you leave, then you can request your PAC code to keep your current number with a new carrier

Great thank you :)

When can I actually phone orange to find out about tariffs and ordering the actual phone? :)

Hmm,

TMobile were kinda of useless when I just rang them, yep its no issue regards getting a nanoSIM from them on my existing SIMO plan but it doesnt appear like theyll be supporting 4G on SIMO plans until next year, so if I want (limited) 4G Ill have to move to a contract plan and so obviously have to get the iP5 from them :/

And that probably means suffering with a poorer data allowance than what Ive got at the moment (and what I really want to keep)
