I have a 2 week wait on my phone so will probably go at the weekend or next week.

I'm finding it hard to justify upgrading from my 3GS. It seems that contracts (from
Vodafone anyway) are quite a bit more than when I got my 3GS.

Yeah I'm sim only 600 minutes etc for £10.25 a month. I've been struggling to decide what to do. I have a 4 that works fine, doesn't struggle with anything I do. Just found a second hand 4s for £300 ish so might just do minor upgrade this year and see where we are at next year with 4G.

Ill sell you my 4s 16gb for £300 if your interested? only had it 2 weeks!!

Now would be a good time to sell a 4s and buy a 5 outright and get on a cheap contract. I could justify it then.

Try three. They have excellent sim only contracts.

Well despite being told by 2 customer service reps and an official tweet from Vodafone that I can go into a store any time this week and do a sim swap, the manager of the Southampton Vodafone store refused to swap me onto a nano sim today!

My mobile number has only just transferred across from giffgaff today and it's being transferred straight out again to O2!!

I queued up from 7am for my iPhone 4 two years ago and got one no problem.

Well information is sketchy and everyone has an opinoin, the advice is 6-7am but then if everyone turns up then it will be a nightmare, so people are going earlier!

Surely you can get a 4 or 4S pretty cheaply? especially the 4 as they are trying to get rid of old stock. The 3GS is pretty crud now by anyones standard and the battery must be on it's last legs.
