How do I find out which chip I have? I downloaded Lirum Info - even paid £2.29, and I still cannot see the CPU name.

As soon as you open the app, I got a little popup asking me to upgrade to the full version... i clicked "not now" on that and on the main page it gives you the model number.

ending AP = Samsung
ending mAP = TSMC
There you go.

Ah thanks. It reads N66AP. As you've been such a nice chap Feek, maybe you can tell me if that's the goody or the baddy? Save me reversing back through the thread. :)

I wouldn't necessarily say that Samsung is 'bad', it's just less good than the TSMC.

Just putting in the simple terms Domo asked for :p

I'm happy with the battery life of the one I have at the moment... I think the Samsung chip would still be better than my 6+ was... so I don't think I'd have any issue with it, if I had it...

Currently have a 5s and will be getting a 6s on Monday, so I am quite excited. I think it's going to be a nice upgrade.

However, I am not sure what model I should be getting, 16GB or 64GB. I am not really into video recording, don't take many pictures and don't have any music on because I have Spotify Premium. 16GB should be plenty, right?

I even considered getting the 6s Plus for a while but it is huge and I'm not ready for such a jump in screen size yet.

Anyone upgraded from a 5s to a 6s? Impressions?

After two weeks with the 6s 64gb (moved from a 4s) I find the phone great. If a bit big.
Battery life is fine for me during my normal working/personnel day.

The only thing I feel bad for is people who have purchased the 16GB model.
to me, it is ridiculous to have such a small GB model, the OS and a few standard add on apps use up majority of that and that is before you take some photos or videos.

Apple really need to forget about the 16gb model and move forward from that. memory costs next to nothing these days. Anyone can see that when they purchase memory cards / usb thumb drives.

Standard, base line models, I believe should be 32gb.

Why would they want to upgrade 16GB phones when they are making money of the people who buy them purchasing larger iCloud storage plans? It's been covered 100s of times in this thread.

I couldn't stand 16gb anymore... will use it up very quickly... I have spotify premium too, but like offline playlists.

I was able to fill a 64GB ipad mini pretty easily... so I pick 128 now... 64 minimum for me...

Currently on my 16GB 5s I have 6GB available and I have pretty much everything I need. I'd prefer 64GB just to be safe but I don't see me using that much storage... And the extra money is a bit too much imo.

My wife got a 6s a week ago. It has overheated twice now when left charging overnight - the home button is hot to the touch and it freezes forcing her to reset it. I have used an app and discovered it has the Samsung chip. I think we will bring it back and ask for a replacement.
