WEP works a peach on mi Wireless at home so there must be some setting or mode on your Router at home that is causing the problem.

However it could just be the fact that it is a Belkin!

Just plugged my phone into the computer for the first time.
Its asking me to name it, aswell as setting options for syncing contacts, bookmarks, calendars and E-Mail accounts.
Before I press "Done" this won't mess anything up will it, or am I being paranoid

You should be in recovery mode when you first plug it in.

I installed "fring", which worked but was more oriented towards VoIP, switching between conversations required too many taps. Found meebo to be far better...

Grab the latest MobileChat by adding http://twenty08.com/installer to your installer sources.. works nicely.

When a new version for the phone is released, when I plug it into the computer, will iTunes ask me if I want to update to it, or will it do it automatically?

When the new version has been cracked, would the process be...
-Restore
-New firmware
-Unlock etc
