Yes, but you would need to activate it in iTunes if you want it to work *legally*.. you can't pop the SIM in and expect it to work.

You could hack it and pop it in without activating if you'd rather..

Next week is actually the 6th anniversary of O2 being O2 according to wiki, so it might hold some element of truth :)

I bet that iPhone feels miles better than that rather brick like looking SE phone :p (My little brother use to have that, can easily kill my hamster if dropped accidently on it)

To disable data access when you roam onto another network (e.g. go abroad), since it won't be unlimited and you can't pop a new SIM card in from the country you're visiting.
 
Posting this from my iPhone now - the more that I play with it the more I'm impressed. I was in two minds about getting one after reading reviews etc but you can't pass judgement until you've actually used it.
 
Is anyone else having problems seeing their phone number when they connect to iTunes?

I've got an email from 02 saying it's activated, but under phone number (iTunes) it just says n/a :confused:

I assume it will come in time..
 
I picked mine up from Carphone Warehouse in St Albans, I got there about 15 minutes before they opened and was 3rd in the queue. Took a while to get sorted as they were having problems with their tills. Really impressed. I was very much in two minds about this, but really pleased now I have it :)
