How is this game in offline mode, ie test sessions?

I'd like to give it a go for a month or two but my net is crap so I wouldn't be playing online.

Will I get access to all the cars and tracks that I would have done if I played online as well? Or would it be a waste of my time?

It may be worth saying that I play rFactor, LFS and RBR offline as well and find them great fun.

they were in the grand touring cup at spa with the mx5's...

so was in d class so should count right???

never mind 1 has come off now, you must have been right slow site....

Yep, should/will count, dunno why I still think the Skippy is the only D class car tbh :p

I believe it's just the stats/website servers that are a bit slow, so if you did 4 TT's in quick succession you'd get your licence upgraded even if the website hadn't updated immediately if that makes sense.

It's worth noting there's no AI, so it would purely be hotlapping which could get a bit dull...

But you get the same cars/tracks in offline as online yes, but only the same ones so you can't test offline with cars you haven't bought, just the basic content + ones you've purchased.

That's ok that there aren't any AI, I don't play with AI at the moment. I think I might get a month.

It's a shame about my net as I'd love to do this sort of gaming online.

You can drive all your cars and tracks off line no worries.

You can also drive the cars you dont have the licence for in practice sessions or off line and in hosted sessions so i could host a williams session and you can join np even if your a rookie licence its only the official races you cant do without the required licence.
