Mmmmm

You've nearly sold it to me.

I have to say the DBR9 mod for rFactor was one of my favourites, coupled with the classic Le Mans mod and a separate sequential stick shifter.

Well, the PBR shading makes it look stunning, and did I mention the noise?!

It drives nicer than any of the GT3 cars to me. Sequential with a blip on downshift, perfect.

It was MSI Afterburner.

Working now, thanks.

Week 13 GT1 at Monza, lol.

Started 29th, was 12th after first lap, finished 8th. Only 11 cars running after two laps. It's like playing GTR on public servers all over again.

You're brave running that in W13!

I finished this paint for the Aston today

I would be brave if IR and SR were on the line. As its stands it's just a lottery as to whether you make it through the first chicaine. I assume a change of track tonight, so we'll see what that brings.

Nice paint.

One of the most iconic liveries ever and one of my favourites. Looks nice on the MP4 too.

Tried my first race tonight. On Charlotte using the Sprint Cup Ford Fusion.. Qualified 2nd which totally flabbergasted me :).

Anyway, nerves were jangling as I was following the pace car, didn't get a great start and was 4th after the first corner, then bam hit from the back, spun in to another car, I get a 4x contact, head off to 1.20 in the pits. Return out in last place, over take a few others going into the pits.

Notice the leaders are quite close behind me, so I pull over to let them pass and I drop a gear for some reason, go into spin and off the track. Not the best start to my iracing career :)

Onwards and upwards though..

Okay, had another race, this time a bit better although I still got mullered by some one going off track and coming straight back on and into me. Pits for repair then I accidentally hit 52 mph in pits and got a 15sec penalty.

Looking at results I should have got third or fourth.

Anyway, I am wondering about the irating and srating, looking at the results here

I still have nothing against my name and it says that the race is still running, why is that? Over an hour since the race finished.

thanks

Yes it is.

All the Steam discounts are on subscriptions of various lengths.

So you can use the service, plus any extra content you may buy, for as long as your subscription lasts. If your subscription runs out then you won't have any access to the service at all. That includes any extra content you may have added and even the forums.

The £13 for a year is a steal to be honest, but you'll only be able to race in the rookie series and a few other series that use the base content cars and tracks. Even then you may have to buy extra tracks if you want to participate every week.

At £13 for a year it's a very cheap way to find out of iRacing is for you or not.

So it's Steam who manages my account and who I have to cancel with, not iracing? Do I puuchase extras trhough Steam or ircing?

I have a 3 months for $5 code anyway.

Steam has nothing to do with your iRacing account, it's all managed from the iRacing site.

You probably can't use that discount code on Steam.

If you wan to use the code and not buy the subscriptions at current Steam discount, then sign up at iRacing's website. After that you'll get a Steam key anyway. All that does is allows you to sign in to your iRacing account via Steam and use the Steam overlay and track your hours. Everything else will be done via the iRacing website anyway.
