iRacing

I'm still playing, couple of the lads from here joined the team I'm with so we communicate more on the discord than in here nowadays.

Anyway, back on subject ... I'm an old luddite who prefers his triples. Most I know with VR are using the Oculus headsets.

Much prefer triples also, VR still looks like arse.

I want to get back into Iracing, but stopped my sub a few months back as I was only racing a few times a week.

thanks for the update, something to think about though.

I would go triples I just haven't got the room for it. I'm struggling to get a proper sense of where I am on the track when using just my 1 monitor, hence I'm thinking about the VR route instead.

This has always confused me, when I was a signed up member I'd get offers for new/returners but since I stopped paying I get diddly squat, thought I'd be the target audience now

Decided to take advantage of the 24 month renewal. Looked into the volume purchase, but I'll just purchase tracks/cars as I need them.

All content costs almost £2000.

You get levelled discounts depending on how much content you've previously bought. It's generally best to buy content for the series you want to run per season. Then you can use some credits you earned to buy next season's cars/tracks. That is unless money is meaningless to you :)

I really need to find the time to actually race. Re-subbed on Black Friday for another year and haven't touched my rig since  Also liking the look of the updates to ACC as well....... must find the time!
