My run of crash free races comes to an end, got rear suspension damage from seb vettle just driving across the track after a spin. Tried my best to avoid but he just caught me.

On a separate note, what seat/stand recommendation do people have?
Space & Budget?

Congrats! Best bit of advice I can give you now is to keep practicing, I typically spend Sunday through Tuesday getting up to speed on each track until I can comfortably do race length stints at pace with no incidents.
Just remember a lot of the incidents and crashes you'll have are genuine accidents, very rarely does anyone intentionally wreck you out of a race. However, it's very common for people to out brake themselves thinking they're a lot better than they actually are!

Really good race late last night. Vrs Sprint at Sebring, car #30 and finished inside top 10. 1440p60 hasnt processed yet, shouldn't be to long so just 1080p60 available for now.

Space & Budget?

I will measure exactly, but its around 1.5 metres wide by 3.2 metres long (carpet measurements I can slightly remember)

Edit - Budget, im not entirely sure. All I know my current setup has be using the clutch pedal as the brake on the G29 because my brake pedal is behind the bloody frame the wheel sits on! :@

Personally i'd be looking at an 80/20 based alu extrusion setup, if you have the space and budget (Not much more than the Titan). The stiffness, modularity and adjustability are game changing.

The above are off the shelf options, however, you could build one for less by buying the extrusion and fittings yourself.

Dont get me wrong I'm sure the Titan is more than capable (pedal plate dosnt fill me with much confidence though), however after using an 80/20 rig I dont think I could ever go back.

Had another 2nd place in Skippy. Finally got into the 1.31.xxx times on race pace, can't get near it in qually/praccy.

I have also just been promoted to C license :D

Didn't know what that was - but just did s quick search - looks awesome!

For this , can you split your view into 3 windows if you like - so it would look same as 3 monitors?

Kind of, instead, it lets me run the game at a higher FOV. Not quite as high as triples/3 monitors but significantly higher than the 51 degrees my BenQ gives me.

Anyone know of any returning customer codes?
I asked on the topic a few days ago and the answers were not good, think we'll have to wait until a Black Friday sale. I did moan on one of iRacing posts on Facebook but, as there was no notification of a reply, I guess it was ignored.

Yeh they love giving new customers discounts but seem to not be bothered about discounts for returning customers. It’s maybe once a year you get a discount code.

Congrats mate. I loved the advance through the licenses and car series. I'm not a top split racer, usually 2nd or 3rd split, but even in there the thrill of close proper racing with others is fantastic, iracing at it's best when you get a good race.

^^ Well done :)
I bought the Skip Barber series and did some practice on the Charlotte Motor Speedway track. Compared to the Mazda MX5 the cars are quick and grippy :)
